Hello! I adopted this as a cutting from a neighbor a few months ago after they pruned their mature one. It is potted in a succulent mix currently and was watered about 5 minutes before I took this picture. I probably water it every 12ish days when the soil is dry. It is in a south facing window.
I do know that the more obvious white spots are sap from puncturing itself during the pruning process. However, I am unsure what the larger brown spots are. They have seemed to get worse since I have had it but I am not sure if it is my own paranoia haha. I tried rotating the plant and moved it to a spot that gets a little less direct sun in case it was sunburn. Does this look like a fungus? I also noticed that there has been a white powdery layer that is on the older parts of the plant. I am unsure if it is because we have hard water here? Is it best to try distilled or could it also be a fungus?
