[Music] kitchen Garden is really welcoming and they look so fresh and green so that’s where the original Garden finishes off and this is the start of the kitchen Garden uh which is it has a few steps and it goes down a little bit fur uh which is complemented by um Jasmine on this side it’s beautifully put together all the jasms on one side are um put on one side and this Jasmine is so beautiful it’s like a star it’s like the petals are like stars and they are in bloom because it’s summer here um next to it [Music] it’s called jewy Jasmine and that’s about to bloom because they just chopped it off and then it’s it’s throwing out all new um new leaves so on this side what they did was they have all the hyos of different colors they have group them together so they have a pink um like red and there’s a yellow and there’s another pink uh there’s another yellow and there’s a bright red um hibiscus which looks beautiful um so they’ve really um put all the similar plants together which is making a statement in itself and it’s really looking good here we have um a water Apple um green water Apple which is full in it’s full of fruit look at it this it’s actually every stem has fruit on it so they’re about to grow they need to grow a little bit more little bit more to taste a bit better but I think plant is full of PL the fruit this is a green water Apple uh there are other types they have a pink and they have red they have other types of water apple as well so on the other side we have lemons are big they called orange lemons which the when you squeeze them the juice is in orange color they’re type of lemons but they’re they’re little bit more sweeter than the limes um so that’s it and here we have a it’s a dwar jack fruit in full fruit oh my God they have three and three 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 oh my God 10 fruit hanging off a small plant and you can really see that Jack fruits are not um that big anymore so on the other side this is um sugar cane which is about to grow into a big big chunky sugar cane and here we have two dat dat Farms which will give dates in a few years and then we have a saport plant here it’s still um still not mature enough to fruit but you can see the buds here they’re about to um they’re about to open and then I think there’ll be more fruits coming its way so you can see the little fruits forming here uh can you see here with a little fruit coming so soon they’ll have um supporters coming and the tree is full of these mangoes that weight of the mangoes are really hting the St down just pulling the here we have another type of mango which is a different I think this one is called b or something like that it’s like a it’s not not a juicy mango it’s you can cut and eat it um so it’s it’s still a long way to go it still have to grow for a few months but you can see the big clusters of mangoes on one one H stem oh my God they have one 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 mangoes on this one branch oh that’s amazing [Music] [Applause] [Music] la we have a bear which is gone high up in the high up there but they haven’t I think the fruits are not there yet and here we have the Jamon plant it’s called This is white Jamon I’m not sure if I can show you some frood yeah this is the fruit it’s about it hasn’t D dried yet but it’s in Full full bloom so the fruits will become bigger yeah you can see some up there they’re getting bigger and bigger this is the white jamu it’s it’s beautifully uh seeping down if you see the fruit the fruit is like this and it’ll go a little bit bigger [Music] oh it’s beautiful you can eat it it’s white Jamon and here we have some Lis planted over here and this is called p p plant these roots are dried and uh used in with other with other nuts and [Music] fruits here we have a few papaya plants planted still babies now so it take another four to five months for and in the middle of it is a beautiful dragon fruit which has been erected on onto a Central Concrete concrete um bean and on top of it they put a tire so that the dragon fruit can fuit from here so once it’s in food it look beautiful and here we have a custard apple so you can see a little baby custard apple here it looks so cute so it has to grow big so it’s a baby it’s a baby custard apple so it’s slowly coming up see here we have some food here and and you can see yeah little Roots all over the all over the branches so this another [Music] one um the drumstick plant Moringa uh it’s in full bloom and soon you will have long stick like fruits coming down the St so it’s still in it’s still flowering and once the flowers are done you’ll have the long stick like stick like uh fruit coming through we use them in in curries we use them in uh we use them in sambar and uh also uh we also use them to make uh other other mix we mix the vegetable and we use it with lot of other curries so they look a bit like that long and and they the reason they call them drumstick is is a patch of eggplants um they’re like they called um Japanese egg plants usually they’re skinny and they’re beautiful um you can stir fry these with some onion garlic and chili powder and you can just eat it it’s amazing so they have a good patch of um um eggplants and Ivy God which is like this which looks a bit like this um they we use them in curries you can just stir fry them uh some Asians even eat the tendil the tendil of the Ivy ivy God so it’s they say that they use it in stir fries but in India we use we use them mainly we use the fruit to cook here we have um bottle guard bottle guard but I think the bottle guard is mainly in winter so the summer they don’t really do much I think we have to wait for the winter for them to fruit and here we have a ried guard which is in flower at the moment soon there’ll be uh ripped Gods coming out so here you can see some insects uh growing uh going on around the plant which they eat the IDS which are on the plant and also they they also pollinate the flowers here they have male and a female flower so this one is a female flower and there’s a male flower here so what I usually do is take the poen of the um male flower and then rub it onto the female flower that way there’s a quick pollination if sometimes there are not enough bees or you know insects to do the job on to the next uh plant this is climbing beans which they have just started flowering uh soon they will they will come into fruit you can see a little ripped guard up there it’s small but it has to grow long [Music] e [Music]
