all right guys we got a big one today I’m super excited about this what am I sitting on on this big box you’re about to find out check it out down below gotcha just kidding anyways this is a hydrax foresight rdwc system with Venturi effect for air ration never got to put one of these together before we’re going to dive deep into this showing you the ins and outs how it works so let’s get started by taking everything out of the box laying it out and we’re going to talk about it be right [Music] back all right guys so I am back I took all that time to kind of just lay this out for you guys take everything out of box arrange it so it looks all pretty I shape shifted back into my first self now I’m back to my normal form and we’re just going to kind of do a little walk through here of what we’re seeing uh I’m I’m pretty impressed with first of all I’m going to say the quality of these components when I got to touch and feel everything and let’s kind of walk around here and check out the buckets okay the the buckets that Hydra unlimited unlimited makes here is pretty sweet these are 8 gallon in size they have the removable Lids that just fit perfect on top of them the the legs the standoffs are super super heavyduty like when I pick these buckets up the first thing I notice is they’re just I can’t even squeeze these things they’re very very built to last commercial grade so I love that I love the look of them I know I know a lot of these things guys is utility function it’s not meant to be pretty but sometimes when you’re spending money on a professional you know commercial grade hydroponic system like the boys at Hydra unlimited put together here when you actually take all this out of the box it kind of feels good to know your money was well spent on something you know with the level of you know like what I’m seeing the pump quality the the hosing with the quick click connect fittings which is something I don’t see that often um but I’m going to kind of walk around here and show you one of their newest things they did send us a few accessories and one of their latest things that I when when they did uh show me this new little Halo cup now we been in the netpot game a long time where everyone’s used to seeing these net Poots this is a 6-in net pot and one of the things that I’m not a fan of is if you look at the way net pots are designed with these small ridges like this when you’re growing a big plant with a large root Zone this op these openings are going to cut the roots up so when I saw this new design this little Halo net cup with their little foam insert what we’re basically doing what the boys over at Hydra unlimited did is is create a foam insert where the underside requires no media so let’s think about that why did they do this well the root Zone can just go crazy on the underside you don’t need clay you don’t need anything in the net cup to actually support the roots this is actually designed to drop a clone right in the collar and then walk it right over it does have some plastic Clips which I I do like they they are actually easily removable um I don’t have that funny Vibe where these plastic tabs will break off because they are very solid and the way that they molded them they drop in nicely they spin freely uh they’re pretty easy to remove as well all you got to do is just push up and voila so I’m digging that I definitely like the Halo cup design that’s kind of like thinking outside the box and I I do respect a lot of companies that come out with something that’s you know same same but different it’s definitely you know it’s an improvement from what a lot of people have been stuck with for for quite a while now one of the accessories they actually did send us if you are stuck using these traditional net pots like we all have have seen for the last couple decades these Tetra Bas little media balls these are actually a alternative to Clay Pebbles or hydren or Lea people call them a lot of different things but this is a plastic that is completely inert washable reusable and I dropped some of them into this 6-in net pot and when I was looking at it I got to say I kind of like it I mean if you look at this I could see Roots doing quite well in that and you know we’ve all worked with Clay many of us have you know when they when it rubs together it makes a mess there’s always constant maintenance with Clay you got to rip it it always leaves a film this is something that you know for for people who like cleanliness and and don’t want that mess take a look at the Tetra baseballs that the guys at Hydra unlimited dropped because I think it’s I think it’s definitely something I’ll be putting on the shelves here pretty soon at Garden Supply guys now when we look at all the rest of this stuff we have a supreme pump heavy duty can’t wait to fire this thing up and uh see what it can do and then most of all the Quick Connect quick click fittings okay so they send you this kit just ready to go where basically we just got to start putting things together clicking everything together and see what we have once this is all all basically assembled in that tent and ready to go the other thing I saw over here and I’m going to just kind of walk past you is their Venturi system that they implemented into these this is their big accessory that essentially what it is when you run it in the side of each bucket there’s going to be water running through this hose and when water pressure forces its way down this hose and out this Outlet at the base down here what happens is is this little air Inlet receives pressure and actually pulls airf flow down here through the spout so what you have in each root Zone from what I understand stand is is we’re going to have a forced water flow with air bubbles being circulated constantly throughout the system so we’ve got a few things here even this not even sure what this is going to be used for yet so stay tuned guys um the quality of this system I can tell is is definitely topnotch but we’re going to start putting it together next and get it dropped in that tent fired up add some water and we’ll be right back so so enjoy this next video of us actually assembling this in time-lapse format hey [Music] Rod [Music] he [Music] all right guys we’re back how did you enjoy the time lapse it was pretty cool watching that in a 100x fast forward uh so what we’re going to do guys is we’re going to start walking through the system now that it’s built running sounds badass uh what we’re going to do is is start right down here with the heart of the system we got the Supreme water pump it’s a 2.2 amp 120 volt as you can see she’s just huming pushing water through this system right now I would say it is definitely Supreme so as we walk up the line going through this I’m just going to kind of walk through what’s going on here and if you look at the little indicator arrows my assistant Tom was just so nice he came up with the idea we wanted to explain what these hoses do here and we just laid out kind of the flow as you can see so as we walk up the line here you can see we have open and close valves used for certain functions in the system I’m not going to get super detailed into it I’m going to just kind of like break some things down but we’re going to make sure that we have drop links down below for you guys to click on direct from Hydra unlimited so you can see their easy fill and drain steps in video format no point in me Reinventing the wheel but as you see right here we’re going to start with the fill spout so hydrx included this nice little fill spout that we can drop on here to add nutrient dosing water um pretty simple pretty straightforward when you do add to this you are supposed supposed to open this valve add and close again check out the links down below but as we’re adding you can see we’re going to have nutrients or water running down this line you have your water filtration system and then it’s going to head straight into the chiller now what’s cool is is they also on this system include a pressure valve and you can actually use this valve over here located right below the fill spout where if I open or adjust this John’s going to show you that by lowering this we can adjust pressure up and down to dial it in perfectly to whatever we need that Chiller to be running at so when we look at we have coupler outfitting of the chiller running down the system into a hose manifold we’ve got our beautiful Quick Clip connect fittings holding everything together and guys be sure you add these when you run one of these systems if you forget to put these on um you’re going to have a little water coming out so running down the lines you can see everything is distributed in each bucket throughout this system and if we walk down the sides here looking underneath the these systems we have a distribution manifold as you can see the line running out and then two return lines almost like a shotgun return from the bottom of each bucket but out the side here my favorite part we’ve got the 38 in looking Line running straight down into the Venturi circulator and that’s the fun part about this that we get to talk about soon enough coming soon um I referred to it as a supercharger and I was quickly corrected on that reference John looked right at me and he goes well actually it’s naturally aspirating more like a carburetor using the ventury effect I was quickly corrected on that one so I digress um lastly guys we want to talk about the buckets okay the buckets are one thing that I I did talk about earlier where I really loved the quality of these things uh I found out Hydro unlimited they actually do all of their own blow molding inh housee so believe it or not these buckets these Lids they are a super high quality plastic they are made in America believe it or not so yes it is an americanmade product be proud of what you buy um everything from it is is definitely a quality system you are paying a little more for these if you do check the pricing on our website um and lastly if you look at the legs the legs is the one thing that I always wanted to talk about because it was the one issue we ran into when we built this uh I made the mistake I was too excited to put this thing together and when we were pushing the legs in we didn’t just Jam them in like we we jamm them hard in and we were Ed where they are actually designed to just be gently tamped in about like a/2 in into each leg base and they’re designed with a pressure type resistance so you’re softly just just Tamp it in just give it a little Tamp just tap it in just tap it in give it a little tappy tap tap tap aoo moving on the last thing I wanted to show you guys and I know I said that twice so I do apologize because I’m I’m trying to get through this system in the best fashion because the most exciting part is yet to come with the underwater shots coming up but I did forget to mention I wanted to show you guys the drain and fill that part I kind of wanted to show you how this system works because a lot of it even though it does look complicated is is quite simplistic after you get it running and set up everything is just laid out uh the instructions were pretty good uh when we were putting this together but the drain and fill uh Hydra unlimited kind of has their way of doing it we have our Midwest way of doing it so kind of let me show you what we’re going to do real quick uh we’re going to take this little line right here this is their drain line and as you can see we have it just hooked up to a garden hose and what we’re going to do is we’re going to take the fill outout right off the top here we’re going to put this right on top most important thing come in here I almost made this mistake always got to clip the blue clip down so it’s locked into place water tight every seal every clip just make sure they’re locked in just like that one too and all you have to do to actually drain this thing out is to turn this valve oh well as you can see my seal on the garden hose isn’t as good as the seals everywhere else cuz this is a piece of crap I wetted myself but that’s a drain out and if you simply want to fill this thing back up this can come off no got clip this up pull this off put your drain spout back on and for me the simple fill would be to just go into one of the expension port that we got here and just pour it right back in like that so even though I said the exciting part was to have the underwater shots I already feel like I’ve had enough with water today but we’ll be right back we’re going to go underwater now okay guys we are back we are about to take a look inside the systems in just a moment one thing I wanted to point out real quick to kind of show you a little bonus accessory that’s always included I did mention this when we were un boxing earlier in the video this is a hydro unlimited’s float valve add-on that they include in the Pro systems like this foresight we’re seeing and what’s really cool about it actually is if you look up close they made this nice little molded easy clipon accessory with the float valve already built in where it has an adjustable height setting and then the other thing that I’m thoroughly thorough impressed with is this little pop fitting where when you hit this it is completely waterproof so it is a waterproof click pop seal and you say well what are we going to do with this let’s just take a look we’re going to take the lid off of any of these buckets everyone is created equally in a hydrx system and all we have to do with this nice mold is put this right here clippy clippy into place and now wherever we run this to whether it’s a reverse osmosis system for easy refills or my favorite if we’re going to be going on vacation or be out of town this is that little accessory that’s going to give us that peace of mind that all knowing that when we’re away our system is always going to be automatically topped off with a simple float valve accessory where I could run this outside a tent straight to an external Reservoir loaded up with my nutrients and water so two weeks I’m gone no problem float valves just going to constantly do the work for you and refill your system while you’re away from your home so I’m going to pull this out guys this was the one accessory I wanted to hit before we get to the meat and potatoes we’re going to take a look inside the system now and we’re kind of going to get to the real focal point point of what excited me about the Hydra unlimited systems and what this company is doing a little different than the other dwc systems that are on the market so we’re going to talk about the Venturi circulator the Venturi circulator is really the lifeblood of this system of course we have the heart of the system the pump but the Venturi circulator what it’s really doing guys compared to other regular dwc systems that are more of a passive flow you know AirStone driven is we have this jet of water coming out of the Venturi circulator and what’s happening is is that jet propulsion combined with copious amounts of dissolved oxygen forced into the bucket is no longer passive what it is doing is constantly circulating this bucket and it’s making everything swirl perfectly blending dissolved oxygen through the root Zone as well as all the nutrients what makes this different than let’s just say a competitor system out there current culture is one thing we see with passive dwc systems in buckets is sometimes the roots can come out of the bucket almost like a block where if there’s not enough water water flow what we see is the roots just keep growing they keep expanding and when you pull the plant out of a bucket it’s just a solid block well with the additional force of this jet propulsion and oxygen we have more water circulation and what’s going to happen is is you’re going to have more pass through through the root Zone versus a block forming with just passive water movement that is not actually getting through the roots so let that soak in and think about the difference in root Zone quality and how optimized your nutrient uptake and oxygen absorption will be into the root Zone if you don’t have that nice jet flow through the root zone so I just got to say I’m pretty impressed with the quality of the Hydra system that that we’ve been playing around with and one little one upy I will say one more little benefit to their mold design on their bucket is the undersides of these buckets guys most buckets that we see are flat a lot of them are flat with hard corners and a lot of people may not see that that’s an issue but what we have to remember is when we’re running nutrients and salts through these systems there’s a a a real large chance that you’re going to have sediment buildup you’re going to have sediment buildup in what we would call dead areas of the bucket much like Corners hard Corners sharp corners or the flat base of a bucket so when we start to see a molded bucket that’s round we know sediments cannot build up sediments are going to constantly if there is any that try to build up they are going to swirl and rotate and come out the drain recirculate but never build up around the roots or in the bucket so I got to say the boys at Hydra unlimited did really think through this whole design and this 8G bucket I could honestly say could go up against some 13gal bucket systems that are passive and probably outperform them if you don’t if you don’t believe that statement that’s fine but I want to say send you off on this note we went a little further because we didn’t have any plants to do from start to finish we wanted to give you the product breakdown we went on Instagram we went to a few pages out there that are running the hydrx systems the bunch of commercial cultivators and we just kind of wanted to share some of the photos of what these guys are doing so if you don’t believe it yourself just believe the photos in the final product because wow those roots those stocks are like trees so along with roots and massive stocks comes massive yields and quality flower so I hope you guys really enjoyed this little breakdown we’re definitely going to be stocking these systems in our store as well as a lot of the cool clipon accessories that we showed you as well as the Venturi circulator accessories so again we so much appreciate you just watching this video and we hope you take something from it be sure to like And subscribe to our Channel and and hit the Bell notification because we don’t know what we’re going to be doing next the next drop could be even better than the next we don’t know thank you so much for watching we’re Gardens Supply guys.com we’ll see you next [Music] time he

  1. Love the support from this company through and through and have gotten to check out both a commercial setup and a pro residential system in person..they’re American made vs. a bunch of cheap Chinese refurbed junk- I’m not looking to replace parts every grow. The HydraMax RDWC system itself is brilliant, I hate airstones and love the venturi circulation and media-less options, customization dimensions and runs. If you’re looking for higher-yields, cleaner grows, less water and nutrient waste…all in a quality system…Hydra’s products are straight fire 🔥…Bye feliciaH20 😂😂😂

  2. The supreme sticker 😂😂
You guys nailed all the features and we appreciate all the love!! It’s easy to recognize the passion you guys have for the plant and if anyone needs any other support or information, we’re happy to help!

  3. You guys should let me try a small system someone asked again today about dwc they keep asking I would make a series for you guys with it!!! I'd get infront of alot of eyes a real lot of eyes lol my email is in the description of my videos if you guys want cause I'd love to try this!!!

  4. Owner of a PA Hydroponics Fallponics 4 site 13 gallon system and gotta say this is definitely interesting and I love that the industry is pushing new products and innovations out here because it makes it better for all of us as growmies.

This, though seems like it would be a MONSTER to maintain while in flower where the ladies are drinking 1-2 gallons a day easily and where would you have access to add an external reservoir to combat that issue?

I have an external 50 gallon tote with a float valve in my reservoir and I can disappear for a week with no problem.

#2 with the buckets only being 8 gallons and the amount of O2 flow, those lines seem tiny. I have friends who diy'd or bought other systems with small piping and it turned out all bad, once again during flower.

My 3 inch piping and bulkheads have yet to be defeated and my root zones are massive.

#3, even with the construction of the snapable pieces being high quality, wear and tear is inevitable. What local hydro shop could you run to if something needed replacing quickly?

Everything that my Fallponics system uses to run can be found at any hydro store and home improvement store.

#4th my mans stated that this system comes with a water filtration system built in (around the 10:40 min mark).

Wouldn't that filter your nutrients out if I did indeed hear him correctly? And how long is that fliter good for before needing maintenance/replaced?

These are questions that I don't have to worry about. My system is hundreds of dollars cheaper and delivers consistent great results… for me.

At the end of the day, we're all growing so your method or use of system is your choice.

    Stay growing guys.

  5. I've been looking at that hydroponic system. The only problem is for 4 Buckets is like $1500. But I am curious looking forward to seeing you. From seed to harvest with the new system. What I like to see is More in-depth. With the reservoir and connecting The float valve to the reservoir and doing a complete
fill And drain of the system using the Reservoir with the float valve.

  6. Please give me and Ribbybfrom green magic some more info on this BADASS SYSTEM, this may replace a current culture system I wanted to install in the next house.

  7. I literally designed my system 5 years ago and this is an exact COPY😢. I should have sold it!

  8. i built and yused the first hydro kit in 1978 before hydro was even used for weed it was just a consept for growing tulips in holland i read a newspaper article explaning consept before even they used it to grow flowers i was already on my 4th crop i was definatly THE FIRST IN NORTH AMERICA TO GROW HYDRAPONICALY I ALSO INVENTED THE CLONE BUBLER MACHINE IN 79 i should have patened this i would have been very wealthy just say,in happy growing guys
