[Music] the umof sculpture garden is sharing plans for the future and those involved want it to be an international destination the nearly 6 acre sculpture garden Museum and grounds in downtown Austin opened to the public back in 1991 but not all areas of the property are open or accessible for people with disabilities some buildings are also in need of preservation work those involved say it’s rare to find a property like this one and that’s why it’s so important work its done to make the entire property accessible to everyone it is very rare to have a place anywhere in the world where you’ve got a museum dedicated to work by the artist you’ve got the artist working Studio that looks like he just stepped out of it and then you also have the home where he lived and it’s all together here on these 8 Acres so finally we’re going to unify the whole campus the property will officially be named to the National register of historic places on June 6th
