Strawberry recipe for ya. your kids will love it.
Cut your strawberries up and put them in a bowl , pour sugar over them stir and let them create juice in your fridge.
Make a yellow cake . We use a large square pan for square pieces. you will want your piece in a bowl and layer it in each bowl not the pan.
Then make warm the Vanilla pudding to pour over your cake.
Then pour cold strawberryโs and juice over the pudding.
So good๐
We can get used to the string algae, it's part of the process and the pond is a wonderful part of the garden.
Your strawberry patch is dreamy! How do you keep ants from them? Thank you:)
Our small patch is 3 years old & we lost 75% of our beautiful harvest to ants this year. We're on the east coast, 6b.
Love this camera quality!!!
Whatever happened to the water lily that you took out before winter? Did it survive?
I wonder if peace lilies would also work? I had one years ago in water with a beta fish under it.
So glad you have a positive attitude about the pond. It was sad to hear your disappointment about it a couple weeks ago. I live just up the road from a Monrovia farm in Cali and I love seeing the different varieties you get up in your area from them. Are you looking forward to becoming an Idaho resident?
Afternoon Everyone ๐ฅฐ
So I guess Pond-ing๐ is much like Parenting? Get past the Terrible Twos and then some smooth sailing?๐ ๐โค
The water fall needs to be more stronger.. its not moving enough water in the pond.
Looking at how beautiful your pond has turned out makes me wonder will you ever build an underground pool for the family? ๐ค

Oh my goodness I love to see how your son is following your footsteps becoming a pro gardener himself at such a young age. Too cute! I love to see your family work together. ๐ฅฐ
The addition of the irises really makes the edges of the pond look even more natural. Glad youโre winning the battle with the string algae and happier with your beautiful pond. Such a fantastic strawberry haul! I just started some this year in an up cycled old garden storage bench the height makes harvesting much more comfortable. Had to cover mine with bird netting to keep the blue jays out. Once you convert to a raised bed your chlorosis issue will be gone also. Bonus!
It's like having a puppy, if you can get through the first two year….lol
Love how proud you look and present your harvests! One can tell how much joy it brings you! Mushroom! How did that get there?
Is this a new camera? The quality seems better
WOW what a harvest.

Your small rake, used upside down, helps lift string algae from the perimeter.
The irises are beautiful – I had no idea you could plant them near water. I'm in Illinois with no water source but I may try them thanks to you. The strawberries look wonderful!
Amazing clear picture love it congratulations makes a big difference โค
Yum, those strawberries look good! Benjamin did good picking a whole basketful!! Love the irises around the pond, and so happy the algae issue is getting better. As with gardening, just have to be patient sometimes to let things work out as they should. we are hot and MUGGY here in Wisconsin today. One of those days where you sweat standing still…and I mean dripping sweat!

Is this a new camera ?
Hope your pond clears completely so you can enjoy. I love your pond area. The strawberries look so good and taste so much better that what you buy in the store. Have a blessed day everyone.
Clematis on the arch over the path – you were just discussing what to put out there yesterday!! โค
Irises is correct.
More of those for the trellis arch
Love the irises!!! โคโคโค And strawberries too! Yum!!!โคโคโค
