hey everybody welcome back to my Channel today is May the 22nd and I finally got around to getting all of my hybrid cucumbers planted all of the ones that you saw in the videos that I started from seeds so let’s just uh walk up a little bit closer and check them out and by the way I did start these off probably at least a good two weeks early by the time I was planting these about 4 days ago I think it was they PLS are already starting to grow cucumbers so what’s good about the hybrid is that every single flower that you see here there’s one there and a couple over here all of those are going to produce cucumbers so very very nice no pollination needed and um anyway last year I had amazing results so that’s why I decided to go with these seeds again I’ll just show you close up what’s going on here that’s uh not going to focus focus is it no but anyway look at I’ll put my finger there so you can see the size there’s one there they’re all over the place look I’ve got one here a they’re they’re all over too many to show there’s another one there down there tiny one there’s another tiny one here look at this up here whoops right there another one there another did I do that one one there one there one up at the top I mean it’s unbelievable there’s another one that one’s actually getting pretty large compared to my finger so yeah I should have had these let me just get that in Focus again I should have had these um started off probably two weeks later but anyway that’s life live and learn um a lot of this stuff was inside and since it’s been outside for less than a week now I can see an improvement in in the plants you know there’s just nothing like real Sun for plants so we’ve got that those I did not grow something interesting that I found out these are all from Costco and all of the seeds that I can find locally they call them um crackerjack style marigolds and I could find zero information on the internet and finally I found through one of these little labels here that these plants which are the ones that I like that grow very very short but they get very full these ones here are they’re called french marigolds and they will not grow very high if we go over here in one of my videos I was asking why these these these marigolds get so large look at the size of this thing still pretty nice but I like those ones much better now these here what I’ve realized is these are called crackerjack or African maragold so they grow more like a bush not my favorite type so those are the ones here that I like so I’m going to try to harvest some of these uh seeds and start some of these off next year pepper plants that I had also started with Hydroponics inside uh these here let’s turn it around what’s this here acorn squash right not focusing don’t know why there we go air air acorn squash just for a uh just for a little bit of a test same thing here I just turned them around like that because the sun eats away at the writing on there let’s go Focus again um you remember the in another video I started off uh they call it Buck Choy or pack pack Choy and I’ve got a bunch of flowers going here I’ve got a little bit of lemon basil that I started off from seed as well I didn’t open up this Garden uh that there I bought because I started my cherry cherry tomatoes way too late um putting in these maragold supposedly are really good to keep bugs away let’s go over here we’ve got a little bit more of the basil that I started off um few of those little plants in there I’ve got these are all from scratch as well from seeds the little tomato plants those are newer ones and then I had these ones here that I started off and I use I switched those over to the two cup method and honestly there are the cups right there and honestly I did not find any uh advantage to using that system so I won’t be using it again these here I started off way too early these were the ones were like a little bit of a test when did I start those off March the 4th there you can’t see it on the little label March the 4th March the 4th March the 4th so way too early but these have been out in the garden maybe four days and already I can see that they’re really picking up so even even having um good grow lights uh there’s nothing to substitute the real sunlight so any anyway this whole area here is going to be for some more seeds so maybe we’ll just I’ll go over to another area and show you the seeds that I’ve started off so here we are we’ve got some basil started that off from seed like those are coming along well tried some different type of cucumber and those are coming along really well heirloom cucumbers I’ve got some hybrid in here for some reason they never took off and and I up till this batch here I had 100% success these here I forgot what they are what are they I labeled them cherry tomatoes May the 15th I started those so there we go those are the cherry tomatoes uh this here is again heirloom heirloom this is more acorn squash that was just out of air corn squash that we got over at Costco and then here we go another one hybrid C cucumber here and then I made a little bit of a mistake I didn’t realize how well celery starts so I opened up the pack of celery seeds there were so many in here I just dumped a whole pile of them in and uh here we go April the 17th celery uh they don’t take um they’re a little bit a little bit slow but uh look at how many there are unbelievable and then our last thing here we’ve got here is basil again this this was from handpicked basil from last year from the seeds I want to see if I could get anything going and there we go so nice that I could get those going from our own own seeds and then over here I’ve got Roma lettuce which I started off we’ll see how that goes I’ve got more hybrid cucumber see another different batch here so the 15th the 15th another 15th I’ve got more basil here from the 9th uh hybrid again french marigolds that I I tried I took out of a pot from last year these were these ones from were from Costco and you can see nothing happening here cherry tomatoes which I forgot to label and then cilantro my second attempt at cilantro and it’s some of it is finally coming even though this thing was full of seeds so anyway yeah so that’s it so just a really fast update on my little plants so thanks very much for watching and I’ll catch you on the next one
