not going to lie I’m a bit scared the patio is grubby this is so satisfying I think she’s dead the first bumblebee how exciting just making things up as I go along hello good morning it’s a minimal makeup kind of day can you even see me I am headed to my parents I’m going to go and collect the pressure washer because today we are refreshing the garden for spring it’s 17° it’s finally looking a little bit spring spring like but no doubt once I’ve completed the garden refresh it’ll probably be all Frosty and cold again but here we are I’m going to plant some seeds today I’m going to jet wash the patio I’m going to weed everywhere I’m going to give it a General Spruce it might take two or 3 days we’ll see what the energy levels are like and how long it takes I’ve never jet washed before it’s always been my boyfriend’s job but I’m determined to get it done and he’s at work so the task falls upon me so yeah let’s go get them I think Mom’s coming with we’re going to get some compost as well cuz I want to plant the seeds and I also need some hay F tablets if I’m going to be in the garden collection Number One Secured some lip Bal do you want Li B say hi say hello hello Goods have been secured I have waterproof trousers cart chair with many attach attachments and three bags of compost first task I think well I was going to say do the plants first task put some sun cream on because I am a pale gal F to 50 kids Sun cream that’s where I’m at in my lie oh oh God I’m going to get yellow sun cream on my top I like this top probably should be wearing a different top because I’m going to get it all muddy and gross but she said as she sprays more on the top looks like I’m doing a white wash in a bit but yes Sun cream’s on the face Sun cream’s on the arm I am not about to get sunburn I’m going to go get the stuff out of the boot I need to spray some nose spray up my nose so I don’t get crazy allergies and then we’re going to start I’ve got my boots out my walking boots cuz they’re waterproof gardening gloves Trel and a Fork thing and I’ve got some wildf flower seeds So the plan is to empty out these pots behind me because we used to grow herbs in them and we cook them back for winter and honestly I can count on one hand the amount of times we actually used the herbs for cooking it was a great idea in principle but we never really Ed them so I am going to dig them out and I’m going to put these wild flower seeds in there and hopefully they Thrive I probably should be nurturing these inside before I just throw them in a pot but quite frankly I can’t be bother bothered so we’re just going to throw them in and I feel like if I put if I don’t put too much heart into it I won’t be so disappointed if it doesn’t work not sure if that’s the attitude to have but and then once we’ve done that I’m going to pressure wash not going to lie I’m a bit scared I’ve never pressure washed before and I know it’s going to take me forever I’m coming closer so I can see if the mic’s working the patio is grubby which I’ll show you in a second so it definitely needs doing it’s just going to take ages I’m a strong independent woman I can do this I don’t need my boyfriend right where do I start I guess we start with a before so this is what we’re working with this is parsley whatever that was it’s trying to come back but you know these are all dead this is fresh taragan again never used I’m not a feel bad like just getting rid of it maybe I can put it in a tiny pot or just see if it wants to thrive then over here again dead and this was mint but mint is like crazy and overgrows everything so we had put that in a pot but as you can see the soil does not look happy so I’m going to attempt to break all this down get all the old plants out and hopefully we can make something nice out of this and I guess I’ll report back in a few weeks to see if the wild flowers have grown [Music] [Applause] okay we have the seeds Mediterranean exotic seed mixture hock and exciting so it says sew Outdoors oh where they are to flower once the soil has warmed prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before showing what’s the tilth sprinkle the seed thinly over surface then rake lightly to ensure seed is just covered alternately so 1.5 mm deep in drills 30 cm apart germination usually takes 14 to 21 days all right well what I’m going to do I’m basically not going to listen to anything that’s just said I’m going to put a bit of compost down like fresh compost sprinkle them on and then a bit more compost I don’t know and like does it tell me how much this covers is this the most boring video in the world right let’s fill each of these up I’ve seen Gardener stab compost bags before and it looks quite satisfying why is it white do I want to know the same Texas woo a no hold him yay I just have a feeling that Gus’s cat friends are going to come and poo in this like this looks kind of like a giant litter tray doesn’t it they better not okay do we just go for it now so I’m just going to pull them on I’ve got two packets so I need to make sure I spread them out relatively evenly this not many as I thought in a packet I won’t lie oh they’re blowing or do I do two wild flowers and then the middle one different yeah let’s do that because there’s literally nothing in that that took zero convincing no don’t blow away I put more soil on you so you don’t blow away that didn’t feel like many seeds Okay and then I’ll Water them and hopefully that sort of weighs it down so they don’t blow off just making things up as I go along going to do the same for this again there’s not many seeds in this packet so we’re going to just throw them all in well there’s more in this one cool spread them around a bit you what it’s actually pretty warm today right while flow’s done I need to now figure out which one of these is not going to be crazy for them colored herb I don’t want a herb no what are you cut flour sew undergrass or plant indoors no no liilia trailing no we can’t do that in a pot it looks like we need to Gra grow kale apparently that grows all year some flowers I do want to do maybe I could do these when are you supposed to put them in direct sew or plant outdoors it’s this time of year you know and they’re red ones look how pretty they are and then the only ones I’ve got after that is mar Golds so underglass or planting doors I really didn’t think this through one of my pots is going to be empty right hang on let me just use my brain for a second wait I have an idea I have an idea Hi Gus so those of you followed me for a little while might remember that I did these little like pencil case things for my old shop so on fire oh my God it’s warm in here and with those pencil cases they came with this little tag if you remember these so this tag is actually plantable seeds it says plant me fill a plant pot 3/4 full with soil and make sure it has a drainage hole soak your paper in room temperature water for 1 minute then place it in your pot and cover with a thin layer of soil find your pot a nice warm sunny spot and water daily oh maybe I need to water the plants daily okay that’s fine we can do that I can’t breathe don’t let the paper dry out now sit back and watch your seedlings grow into a beautiful mini garden and don’t forget to water regularly and I know for a fact somewhere I have a stash of these I have a hunch they could be in up here because I have like a box that one that’s Sol and fire product box my mom took some of those seed papers home because we were both said we’re going to plant them and I know I have some so hopefully they’re in here you ready for a throwback so I can see them straight away they’re in here but yeah remember all these old planners to-do list my books these were a big favorite it’s the it’s the archives Maybe I’ll go through that one day but today’s not the day we’re gardening so in here seed paper so I could just use like some of these should we use these guys they smell nice how many do you think I’ll take them downstairs soak them in water for 1 minute and then plant them we can do that so I guess I could just do it straight onto here like place place them in water them give it a minute or so and then see what happens this feels so weird this feels wrong it’s kind of hard to do this with one hand I won’t lie soak them give it a minute might as well water these ones while I’m here no no I didn’t want them to get wet you can dry in the sun there we go just let them soak for a minute put some more soil on and cross your fingers this feels very weird [Music] [Applause] [Music] I’ve got to go down the back of the shed and there’s so many books I need to get this particular brush but I got Eat It oh my god oh no it’s stuck why is it stuck it’s like wedged in how am I supposed to get this out this yes hooray we got it all is fine [Music] [Applause] this is the official before shot of this area of the pum I’ve just used that weed scraper thing got all the weeds out of all the cover things and we’re going to start at this end work our way backwards but I’m excited but I’m also kind kind of scared make me look we’re in the shed I’m just going to change my trousers I’ve taken before photos taken a before video and I can’t possibly put it off any longer these bad boys do you know what I am so stylish right I need to work out how to fasten this onto the hose pipe so you’re going to help me [Music] [Music] I need a snack break I guess I guess I just sat on the floor for a minute cuz I can’t sit inside I’ve not even started fueled and I’m back and I’m going to stop being grumpy apparently I can mix vinegar and by carb to make patio cleaner so I’m going to do that oh oh no I’ve got to go to the door it was my mom she’s bought me a present my old one broke and I was very sad about it so she’s bought me this you know what that was the best timing because you can help me put this together just come up to try and find my um air airpods and Gus is scared of my trousers what’s wrong says no thanks Mom what is this oh I’m [Music] sorry wow that’s so good [Music] all right I’ve got my airpods in so hopefully you can hear me but look at this obviously I need to spray all this grossness out of the way but this is so satisfying I Now understand I mean I’ve always loved watching those videos of it but I’ve never done it myself like just watch this this thing like has a little spinny thing underneath it so you just sort of hold it see see just of go steady oh my God honestly this is thrilling and I’m not even joking I’ve also come up with a life pack I’m using this Peg and clipping the handle down so I don’t have to hold it all the time [Music] [Music] this is what we’re looking like annoyingly couple of Pops have made marks but I’m just going to put them back so it doesn’t matter just needs to dry but it’s looking so much better and now I’ve decided I’m feeling up for it I’m going to do this bit look at my appearance I apologize I’m having another snack break the p is already starting to dry and I’m so excited to see that after but what I’m going to do I ended up doing this bit like at the bottom of this bench because I realized that the wood looked really gray and it’s actually like a red wood it looks like that way anyway I’ve just sprayed some vinegar and Bob solution stuff on this and down the shed because I did this corner look at how grubby that is so hopefully the vinegar does something while I’m having my snack and then again I’ve just sprayed some vinegar and stuff down here because this is where the bins live and they are grubby it feels good to get this done and I know I’m going to feel really accompass after this and it’s actually quite addictive look at the little Spinning Wheel my mom got me [Music] I’ve done one patio it looks so good I’ll insert some before and afters now so satisfying but I am exhausted it’s boiling it’s lovely it’s like barbecue weather it’s Quast 5 just need a minute I stupidly just sat on this chair though obviously it’s still wet but I will I’ve accepted my fate now I’m pretty much soaked from head to toe at this point right that was a good going in and I think hopefully the second part of this video will be me doing the back half of of the garden and the Planters I washed all the bins I did like the drive oh addictive but now I need like 4 hours to recuperate good morning it is now Sunday the last two days as predicted right at the beginning of this Vlog it’s pissed it down it’s literally been raining for the past 2 days so I haven’t had chance to do any more to the Garden it is bank holiday I think this weekend potentially not that bank holiday mean anything to me as a freelancer naturally the sun is now out so it is currently 12:00 on the dot I am going to a barbecue at my parents house at 1 I need to be there for 1 why is there a dark cloud up there you are not invited here anyway I’m going to quickly go out and cook the grass because I’m determined to revive it a little bit it’s a bit like Spar and dead I think basically just winter happened and then I’m going to show you what a plan I have for stealing some plants from my mom’s garden and hopefully depending on the time I get back I’ll be able to put those plants in either today or I’ll do it tomorrow morning really quick because the Vlog actually goes up tomorrow this is a very real time video um I also have some new trousers on I got these from Vinted these are from Daisy Street obsessed with them can’t remember how much I paid and I got them out the bag and I was like they’re not going to fit me so I put them in the wardrobe and I thought I’m trying to bit live a bit more healthier we’ll see let’s see how long it takes for these to fit I I thought I’ll try it this morning they fit and they’re not like super tight I think they might be a bit snug when I sit down but probably not the right choice to be wearing when about to cut the grass but I’m just going to tuck them in my my boots and hope for the best and I need to show you our Planters they’re so cute but first going to cut the grass also who remembers these because I am a grandma I’m taking my crochet into my mom’s house because I’ve got stuck on a certain bit and I’ve just found this in my office do you remember when I sold these in the shop love okay enough distractions let’s cut the grass look guys the first bumblebee I’m excited to see how this plant looks when it grows it was a gift from my boyfriend’s family and I’ve never had one of these so let’s see and then this one’s a pey and there are some buds on it last year it didn’t come out so let’s see oh my God it’s such a nice day out today I wonder how many people are going to have a barbecue to be a bit nicer with the sunshine but as we know I’m a pale girl so doesn’t really matter to me right I need boots and I need the lot mower oh god I’ve buried it behind the compost this lawn mower by the way my grandma gave to us I think she’s had it for years like years and years um she now has a gardener so she didn’t need a lawn mow of her own so she gave it to us when we moved in two years ago and it’s going strong we thought at first it had broken but actually it was the blade the blade was just dull so I ordered a new blade 20 quid something like that and she’s going good the only annoying thing is that it does have a wire like it’s a wired one rather than battery but who’s going to argue over a free lawnmower so thanks Grandma I also have some plants that grandma gave me so I love that there’s a touch of grandma in here and then I’m going to steal a plant from Mom’s today so we’re going to get all my favorite people in the garden not literally well I guess literally if we did a barbecue that’s the next plan fasten this on I need to grab the green bin took the trousers in the boots I don’t think they’re going to stay but I’m too lazy to go and change them will I regret it probably let’s go it’s not actually that long am I doing this for no [Music] reason the sun’s come out I need to go and put some sun cream on [Music] I definitely didn’t accidentally nearly break my lawn mower after bragging about how good it was oh I’ve missed a bit oh no look at this I’ve missed some there and I’ve missed massive TFT there I’m not getting back out have I got any scissors can’t find gardening scissors so kitchen scissors it is not perfect but better so I thought I’d show you our Planters I’m so happy with how how these look I recently posted a Tik Tok showing like the befores and afters of the garden so if you haven’t seen that I’ll link it below I don’t know what any of these things are called but yeah everything’s thriving I love all the different colors when we planted it we wanted it to look quite like rustic this bit is where I just plunked a load of compost the other day and clearly that’s dead so I need to buy something for here or maybe steal something from my mom’s house again really cute pop of purple parts of this flowered really early and then it’s D but the rest of it looks nice what do I do with this again this one’s going to flower soon this one looks dead perennial are you sure per perennial I think supposed to mean it comes back every year I think she’s dead Lins I know that one I love Lins I’ll put a f on of how that should look this one looks a bit sad doesn’t it in the back got this little metal butterfly cuz every time I see a butterfly it reminds me of my granddad and I saw this in a garden center my granddad loved gardening so we had to get it this one I love you can see this from the kitchen window it’s so bright we’ve got some aliums on their way out I call them pom pom flowers more purple and then this random Bush and then my new spinner I just think it looks so cute I love how mixture of colors and styles it is and we actually have pots over here these pots this one has alamia in it that I stole from my Grandma’s Garden when I say stole she wanted me to take them I’ve always always said I wanted some of her flowers in my garden and these flowers sort of like multiply they have babies so in theory this will just keep getting bigger and bigger each year which is why I’ve put it in a pot so it doesn’t overtake the Planters but I should have picked up more because I’ve got this other planter here originally I bought these to plant sunflowers in and just never did but I feel like my mom has children of this plant from my Grandma’s house again so to plan today I’m going to steal hopefully some more of these and put them in this one and then we’ve got followers from my grandma and granddad’s garden and my mom and dad’s garden and I think that’ll be cute we’re also debating at some point I don’t know if you can see down here but there’s so much grass growing through from the neighbors um it’s just so overgrown and I feel like every time I cut it down within like a week it’s coming back and it’s very irritating obviously it’s not the end of the world but hopefully tomorrow we can weed that together because this Pao needs jet washing as well I’m thinking and I’ll insert the picture of doing Planters across the back just a skinny planter when I’m at my parents I’ll try and remember to show you theirs something like that quite narrow across the back and then plant something that Trails like climbs up the fence so hopefully well that would stop the grass problem because the planter would be blocking it and it’ll also add a bit of privacy and like something nice to this corner because right now all the plants are like on one side of the garden so hopefully by putting something that climbs up this fence could be cute and then maybe behind me some pots down the side behind this bench but yeah that’s the plan all right let’s go get ready for a [Music] barbecue I’m at Mom and Dad’s this is the planter something like this like quite narrow just put some big plants in that climb up and obviously I have DIY dad so I reckon we could do that similar with these slates but with the white Pebbles I think that’d be nice and then over here mom’s got a robin I’ve got a butterfly mom’s got a robin and then two more here look but these are the plants that I want to pinch somehow we need to try and pinch them without completely killing them [Music] Matilda Mark I can’t answer that Unicorn it’s got legs yeah only got one it’s got one leg don’t got legs it’s got a leg unicorns yeah he realized halfway through his sentence he said to did you realize how stupid that is don’t you unicorns got one horn four legs [Music] yeah see look I’m until I’ve been here and I pull the weed out for you hello Le are you working it’s working hello there welcome to plant ASMR with Alice have I lost my mind yes oh you can’t even see me first of all apologies if you can hear the neighbors great music we’ve had tone by Natalie in brua is that how you say name and now we’ve got minute after minute hour after hour oh I don’t know what that song is I’m back from my parents I’m going to unfasten the trousers because a lot of barbecue food was consumed although that was at like half 1 is now 8:00 p.m. so might be ready for a snack I stole some plants as you might I’ve seen from the last clip oh my God it was so hard to get those plants out like I said I’ve already stolen the exact same plant from my grandma’s and that was difficult but not that hard to get them out these ones were like cemented in there I don’t think they wanted to leave so hopefully they grow just realized I’ve not put any like drainage things in the bottom of this pot oh I’ve drilled holes in it that’s one thing I have a bag of plant Contraband first things first let’s load this pot up I’ve put the pot on the grass so I don’t have have to sweep up the soil afterwards because I can’t be bothered with that that’s not the life I want at 8:00 p.m. at night okay let’s see how many plants we’ve got it was a bit of a struggle so we’ve got a chaotic bundle of both plants with ends like plants with their roots and then just the roots they’re a little bit like creepy fingers like this is what the plant grows out of I call them fingers but that’s the bottom that’s like the where it grows from so I ended up with just a bunch of these after my fight with Mom’s Garden so I’m just gonna like shove them in let’s just Chuck them in and hope for the best and then this one if you haven’t already realized by now don’t take my gardening tips don’t listen to me I can’t believe how beautiful the weather is like this is the perfect bank holiday beer garden weather I’m saying this when I’ve Lally just been at my parents house for a barbecue as you know and rather than the beer I was on Diet Coke because even if I wasn’t driving to be honest I probably would have done the same and me and my mom were crocheting in the garden my dad did take a photo so if he sends that to me I’ll show you it so that’s how I like to live up my bank holiday every once in a while is in my youth I’d go out on a bank holiday I think that lasted like three times and then I realized that’s not the life for me um made for the grandma life and I’m all right with it whether you like to go out on a night out or you like to be in your garden or you like to be with your family as long as you’ve had a nice day or even if you’ve been by yourself and you’ve just binged watched your favorite program if that counts as a good bank holiday to you it’s a bloody good bank holiday in there look at me getting all sentimental over me flowers oh God oh God that’s heavier than it looks going to quickly water the seeds from earlier in the Vlog it’s been like 4 days now and I’ve actually remembered to water them one of the days it literally chucked it down with rain so they didn’t get watered but I’ve been a good plant bom so far so hopefully it shows give these guys a bit of water these guys [Music] what a wholesome Vlog this has been I’m loving being out in the garden and you know what I watched a girl on here called shardai um and she’s really got into like gardening recently she’s kind of like a DIY girl she’s recently got into gardening and it makes me want to grow vegetables but I feel like I’ll probably buy it off more than I could chew with that so is grain vegetables really difficult someone please tell me I’m not sure
