Aaron you are completely right. I started watching Laura 4 years ago. My back yard is now full of proven winners plants and I use all the espoma products. My favorites are my Daisy mays and at last roses. All because Laura has them lol😊
ROFLMTO at Aaron’s and Laura’s expressions when he’s talking about ANOTHER bobcat! His grin and eyes are soooo little boy excited and hers are soooo “here we go again”! I bet it’s going to happen because it does make sense and Laura will enjoy driving it too! 🤣😂👍💕
I find as I’m aging that certain plants I absolutely love and then years down the road I’m like I’m good. I’ve done that. Been there moving on. There are so many different type of plants that I believe for me moving onto another one is perfectly fine.
Love the recap videos, you guys are so funny and the editing is hilarious. Every week their is something that makes me laugh out loud. Honestly I feel like you guys are family. Keep doing what your doing and be you, I believe that's the key
Laura, I don't know if you read comments on recaps, but I've had good luck overwintering my dahlias in southern IL zone 6b (now 7a), and I definitely don't tarp them or majorly mulch. Yours may come back without any extra work 😁
Yes for the barn first! Will need it for storing hay, grain, bedding, tack, blankets if you decide to use them and grooming tools! Horses would be fine outside or with a run-in shed but you need protection from weather for all the other necessities! Horses don’t need to be blanketed in the winter unless you will be showing them in prestigious shows that they need to be clipped for. I lived in NW Wyoming and had a horse that absolutely hated going in the barn and wouldn’t stay there even in the worst weather. I left the door open so she could come and go as she wanted but she never wanted in. 🤷🏼♀️ Never blanketed and never had problems. She wasn’t a wild horse, just 1/4 Arabian and 3/4 quarter horse.
@MP-js5ro i am in zone 9b arizona desert and we use 'blue ice' arizona cypress for this color of blue. i have also been able to grow blue atlas cedars and moonglow junipers with success. both are VERY blue
Regarding annuals overwintering: most definitely in higher zones like 9-10. I have Bubblegum Supertunias on year 2 and they look amazing! I've heard from others that they can lose their vigor in later years. We'll see. Janey from Dig, Plant, Water, Repeat has a podcast on this topic and calls them temperennials.
Our garden center has now started carrying lots of Proven Winner plants – they were loosing business to another garden center. I see people there all the time with 'Garden Answers' t-shirts. I live in Michigan. 🙂 We all love you guys!
👋👋Me raising my hand, HORSES first 🙂👋👋 I've always loved to garden, but it is ridiculous how much you have influenced & expanded my love and interest. I have since passed on alot of what I've learned from you to family & friends, so in our area alone, your influence has been enough to cause 2 mom/pop garden centers to start carrying things they never did before. ❤🪴🌱🌷🌼🌻🌺🌹🏵🌳❤
I’m so sorry Aaron but I’m on team artichoke. They are really lovely if you let them bloom but if you want to eat them, the trick is to harvest them while they’re baby’s; they’re a lot more tender and don’t take long to cook. This video will show you how to prepare them so it doesn’t take so long. You can boil them grill them or fry them. In my opinion, boiling or grilling them is the best option.

I’ve learned so much from watching you. I never had an interest in gardening until watching you, and I absolutely love it now! Also, an answer to one of your viewers questions about Supertunia vistas coming back, yes, I planted STV Bubblegum in planters, (I’m in GA), they came back and are thriving for the 2nd year. Love your channel, and thank you for everything you do.
You are missing out on steamed artichokes with butter! Easy, just wash, clip leaf ends off and steam in a steam basket for 20-25 minutes (or microwave steam). Pull off a leaf, dip in lemon butter and tooth-off the leaf meat! Yum, the kids would love the process!
Ohio here. I have purchased a Hoselink, Felcos, Bonide products, Espoma products, augers, and tons of specific plants along with most anything in a “white pot.” Your influence has impacted us all.
Hey, Laura. Why don't you just rotate years that you divide and pull the dahlias? They definitely don't need to be divided every year. Beautiful work though and love your channel. As always, you guys are so inspiring and knowledgeable.Thank you so very much.

I'm in Ohio and I'm pretty sure my garden center is paying attention to GA. 😂

Never worry about the length of the videos. We all sit and watch the whole thing!!
Aaron I'm with you, I'm not a fan of the artichokes in that location.
I'm in S.W. Virginia and between yall and Creekside Gardening have definitely influenced my purchases. Thank you!

Team artichokes for sure! I love them in the hartley boxes!
