it’s now Friday morning thankfully that wind has died down and apart from that bit of damage those potatoes everything else seems to be okay I have noticed on want other tomato plants and now starting to get flowers on them as well and another thing that I’m going to be doing today is taking first harvest of salad from this Caravan container garden and there’s quite a lot to pick out to be fair too much for us so I’m going to be donating a portion of that to PB where Jin is currently working and I’m pretty sure they’re going to be very appreciative of that a nice bit of fresh hone salad on the side of your plate I’ll show you the salads that we’re going to be picking today and then we’re going to sew some more we’ve got quite a mixture the salad here that’s at L Roso and it’s now got to a size where we need to start picking some I don’t want to grow it too big in case it starts wilting and we’ve got that little gem as well we can pick a few leaves off that if we wanted but over in this other bed it’s even bigger so these are definitely good to go so we’ll pick a bit of each get it bagged up and we’ll keep a bit and the rest will give away and we’ve still got some smaller plants on the way as well and just over there is that Tom plant that you can see is now starting to flour and since we had all that rain yesterday these spring onions have come on quite a bit so at least it did some good and we’ve also got lots more flowers on this planter and quite a few on these balcony Planters as well I think we’re going to have a really good display of color in just a couple of weeks time tumbling Toms made it through even though they are at the highest level and we’ve got some nice flowers coming on there as well which is brilliant news I did worry about these when being such at a high level that they might take a bit of a beating but they seem to have pulled through and the same for this one up on this balcony area you can see that these strawberry plants and now starting to put quite a bit of growth on as well and we have got a couple of strawberries on the way we’ve got some old leaves there that we need to take off so I’ll just pinch that away you can see all these plants are getting that new growth on them now and on the floor we’ve got a couple of them Caravan wash bowls that have now germinated and you can see there that the zapman seeds in here it’s pushing this compost up underneath is more seedlings I think that’s mixed salad in that one and that one is rocket and that’s his container spring onions they’re doing really well this year and although that potato blunt did take quite a beating yesterday it’s still trying so thankfully everything seems okay we’re going to sew some new salads as well cuz we want to mixure this year of different things and this one is a really good one and it’s called Oak Leaf and these produce large heads of green salad leaf and I’ve grown these before and they a brilliant so we’re going to get some seed seone and get some of these underway today as well and that’s a little bit more to share between us and local I have saved this compost as well I always do when it comes to things like s because the seeds are so small so we’ll get some of it in as you can see it’s already wet as well I’ll I’ll get these seeds started off a lot quicker so a quick fill and compress it down I’m going to do two of these so we got loads of salad to go up I’m just going to top that back off and I want to grow these in clumps so we can transplant them somewhere later on so I’m just going to make a little hole about the depth of my fingernail and we’ll get some seeds on and we’ll just multi a few in each of these holes at least this way it’s going to guarantee some germination it’s the best thing about multi sewing anything now I’m just going to cover those over normally I’d save compost over at top but we’ve not done them very deep so I think these are going to be fine and this compost is already wet so these seeds will sue me on the way and that’s is two pikes oak leaf lettuce on the way down here we’ve got another container of spinach that’s also germinated so I’m going to cut some of this L Roso first I think I’m just going to take the old plant from here an amazing looking bunch of salad there straight away we’ll take a couple of these and then I’ll plant something different in his place you could just take leaves if you wanted well I’m getting a better way to a very good cause this is also a very good siiz plant we’ve got plenty of them so we’ll just take the whole thing again and then we’ll take leaves from some of these we’ll take the biggest ones to let the smaller ones grow on so I’m just going to take them from the bottom you can cut them off or you could just pinch them off like that I’ve also noticed these leaves have no slug damage whatsoever that’s brilliant so for it’s first picking there you go an amazing bunch of fresh homegrown salad I’ve also realized I’ve got another tumbling Tom plant that we haven’t putted on yet so we definitely need to get that sorted out because this one is trying to flower and it’s only a tiny little plant so no matter how much we do in this Caravan contain a garden there’s always going to be something else I’ve also just realized we haven’t moved on that pack of strawberries that we bought been quite busy doing lots of things this week so these got missed but you can see now they’re even bigger and better plants so next job will be to get these moved into a container and we’ll probably put them all in one container so we can have a mass of strawberries growing outside and apart from these we’ve still got one or two things that we need to be doing over this coming weekend and if you want to see what they are please hit that subscribe button press that notifications Bell and I look forward to seeing you then take care

Looking good iven, we always enjoy a good salad. All the very best Tim ๐
Been thinking how you are going to use the gate you took off off little balcony in your garden areas. Diffenately would enhance and complement your ongoing creatively…..everything's looking well done.(in spite of windy mother nature)๐๐
Looking good. And no slugs in sight.
As always Ivan great video made up got 1st harvest….my potatoes are doing great in pots with your advice thanks Eric
I grew Strawberries in troughs last year and it was a battle with the birds who got them. This year hopefully I have beaten them I picked up a second hand guinea pig cage 4×2 ft which has been big enough to hold my four troughs. Hopefully I will have more of the crop this year.
All your plants look so healthy. Great display now, will be even better later in season. You've inspired me to grow in containers: tomatoes, cucumbers, beetroot, dwarf peas and beans so far. Plus herbs. Lettuce and spring onion going in this weekend. Cheers.
Love the Lollo Rosso lettuce. Quite a haul!
It's a joyful thing to share your harvest. ๐
It's amazing how fast veg is growing how easy it is to forget bits. Coming along really nice now the caravan garden
I really like your techniques! ๐
Ivan get some planters that go around poles you have lamppost there ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐
Lovely garden x
Yummy salads. It is fun to have enough to share. I want to grow some of the red leaf lettuce. It looks so delicious.
I had my first harvest of the year earlier this week. One spear of asparagus. Itโs taken four years to grow a spear big enough to eat but it was worth it. Straight from the ground, raw, absolutely gorgeous.
Gran variedad ๐
Slugs and snails are my main problem, they love my sweet peas๐ข,Ivan I'm really surprised that you didn't buy a caravan home on a large fenced plot as you get lots more outside space, practically half an allotment,
Great update Ivan, pleased everything survived the winds. So kind of you to give to your local. Thanks for sharing.
the salad has come on

also im letting a few toms that im growing in baskets grow suckers rather then hieght as an experiment how do u intend to do yours x
at 4:04 what are those flowers to your right not the marigold the other side of the steps?, they are very pretty
Looking lovely and looking very healthy, I ate 2 strawberries that had ripened from mine today .Your lettuce looks yummy .
Lovely progress Ivan – the extra flavour of homegrown mixed leaves has to be experienced to really understand!
Mate, you really need to invest in a lapel mike system, the unfiltered noise of wind and pterodactyl squawks is orrible! ๐
Your plants look amazing, you'll be running out of space at this rate. Thanks for sharing.๐
Any advice on baby cucumbers? Struggling to get them to grow in my greenhouse ๐ข
Iโve heard tomato feed may help? Theyโre just not moving much past the first shoot.
Ivan, I am looking forward to seeing you demonstrate your air fryer (mentioned in another video I think). I hope you make ๐. I have always wondered how air fryers work and how good chips are from them. Hope you are both okay. โค
Fantastic first harvest Ivan, itโs lovely to see, thank you so much for showing us๐ฅฌ
Those little gems have grown so well!
