It’s garden time!! I see some videos and photos of you who have longer gardening season or greenhouses, and I think I’m jealous… and maybe I’m not because I know gardening is so much work! But the harvest in the fall is what is amazing. You practically don’t have to go to the store for veggies in the fall because of all your harvest… and that’s amazing!
This year, the weather was unusual and I think we could have planted earlier than we did because the weeds overtook our garden! Erik found out that this lamb’s quarter weed is better for you than spinach, so we decided to not tear it all out of the garden, but we kept some in!
We also planted green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower and more!

Hey, my name is Laura! I’m married to Erik and we are raising three kiddos at home. We have a small homestead/hobby farm and we love trying out things for ourselves. Erik is constantly working on a project or coming up with something new to try.

okay I brought one set of i b one set of plants down and look who came in the garden apparently they think it’s a free-for-all come on out you go maybe have kot come and chase them out we got weeds in here we’re going to keep some cuz they have more nutrition for you than spinach apparently this year that lamb’s quarter covered a chunk of our garden and so we pulled a bunch by hand we did keep some and then Eric is uh roota tilling this part of the garden the other part of the garden we had planted earlier with our tomatoes and our peppers and um the kids were a really big help with making that happen what is it dream B Three Bs I don’t know if I can see it or not this this is really weird cuz when I tried to grab it it would it literally went crazy like look it’s a my right there

0:24 – Lambsquarters…..we let lambsquarters grow in the garden and greenhouse, it hlps mullch the ground and they are very tasty like spinach!
