One of my favourite Catalpa’s : Catalpa fargesii var duclouxii, the #Chinese #Bean #Tree – another rarity that deserves much wider planting. In full #flower it is a sight to behold with the #pink orchid-like flowers with #yellow-#orange stained throats. A prolific flowerer, ours is just starting now… Needs well-drained soil in the #sun & out of the #wind.
