Join me in this video as I review and mount a wall garden tools organizer in my garage.
so today I’m going to mount this Yukon multi-purpose wall mount tool organizer from Harbor Freight they are offering 65 in of total length and you can place all of your garden supplies your tools onto this rack so it’s a multi-functional rack usually price on this one is $14.99 it’s currently on sale at Harbor Freight for $9.99 now I would prefer a metal frame however this one consists of four plastic sections and a bunch of different hooks uh which gives you a bit of customizing and flexibility so let’s take a look at that so my current setup looks like this and I’m kind of running out of room you can see I kind of doubled up here on a couple of the hooks and I do have some spare room here so I’m going to see if I could place them right in this area here um so there’s going to be four sections I think I only have room for about two maybe two and A2 so we’ll take a look here in a minute that needs an anchor look at that all right here we are got a few items on here I like it so let’s take a look and see what’s inside the package here that’s all that’s in the package so you have four sections the actual rack here okay they join like so and so you can mount them individually just have four separate racks or have one continual one that is 65 in long it also comes with some caps and these are if you are using an individual one you can just cover this up so it’s kind of symmetrical to this side and that looks like this and or you also have these little pegs that go in and that sort of forms a little hook for you to uh Mount whatever now also you have these guys and these hooks are actually what I’m kind of looking forward to so they install like so there we go so that way you can have a broom or something like this that you can hang up I’m going to use my little sprayer head so kind of like that so then that will hang on the wall these hooks I like good flexibility also in the package you have some dryw anchors now unless you’re hanging something really heavy these should hold up quite well the other thing you can do is just make sure that you uh install it into the stud so each one of these sections is 16 1/2 in long so if your studs are 16 in on a center you’re going to use these corner holes in this one to mount that on that should not be a problem all right so I’ve got my wall all marked up I’ll have to put two anchors there one in the middle here this is actually where the stud is which is great that’s where both of the sections will join and then one more right there um in the stud region so stud stud stud is actually right there so I’m going to have to use anchors on that side double check here there we go I might actually hit the stud here I’ll pre-drill those and see what’s up same thing on this one stud stud so we’re right there perfect and I’m going to use 1/8 drill bit here stud good stuff do another one well got the bracket right next to it so it can’t go all the way deep that needs an anchor back this out all right I’m going to pre-drill this for the anchors could have been a little bit neater than that try it again with an ankle one more so each section is held by three screws so hopefully this will work together maybe Ah that’s the problem so two of these this one will get a peg from here see this Peg here so that’s going to take place of the screw here all right so this is what it’s going to look like I need to undo this secure it with this weird design but we’ll go with it good to be in bitri okay we’re in the stud and get second screw in here on the bottom look at that Finishing Touch H how does that work oh no still need to get rid of this one and then drill the the two holes here that’s what it’s going to look like I’m going to predrill with 18 all right now this is a finished product that’s what she’s going to look like I’m going to throw some pegs on here and some Hooks and we’re good to go ah forgot to put an anchor here and an anchor here the last one t Okay finished product I know it doesn’t blood in when the old one however light more flexibility more capacity you’ve got these little pegs actually there’s more in the kit where you can use these openings for but I figured if I’m going to use it for something else I won’t need a peg here but you can use them all as pegs or some hooks or combination of such but that’s what it looks like and it seems to be fairly secure let’s Mount some things on it yet had another project complete at maximum DIY garage please comment like or dislike subscribe if you like for more projects thank you very much and we’ll see you on the next one
