I saw this yard and I just had to knock. When nobody answered the door I went next door to ask if they knew the story on this property. And from what the neighbor said that the home owner passed a few years ago leaving this property un attended. So I gave it a FREE YARD MAKEOVER

    Hi Cris. We call that Mattress Stuffing Grass. Native to Australia, it usually takes three to five passes to get down to the ground, and you could easily stuff numerous mattresses with it.
    Me thinks your grass catcher is having a bad day today !!!! But she's worth her weight in Gold, or should I say "Weight in Grass!!" Nice Job !!

    Geez, that grass was so thick that the sun couldn't reach thru to the ground to keep it green. Wow. It looks 100% better!

    I can't even tell you how much I love that you cut those front bushes down to open up the whole window! I never understand why people shape and trim them and let them prevent the sun from shining into the house! It makes the house more inviting and also prevents anyone thinking to hide and break in.
    Plus, I'm a sucker for a pretty edge…beautiful job!!!

    A good find and help on pulling up the neighborhood standard. Looked like pretty thick grass. Your work edging the grass and then trimming the hedges had a nice, neat result. Chuckled when you showed the birds came for a picnic again.

    It's too bad that you couldn't do the back. I bet that would have been a great makeover. I do love how you really cut back the bush in front of that big window. That was particularly satisfying to see the window completely uncovered
