yeah these are kind of brighter these must have come up so this is the heliconia wagara the flowers at this time these torn up ones are when we were having a dry period the other day and the birds drink the water and Peck the flowers to get the water so that’s why it’s torn and I like to leave it because then people realize that this is all a living garden and and the birds have to eat and drink as well as the plants well over 100 years old some of them 150 160 years old I remember they’re called cabbage pums with the tiniest seeds although they’re so large they’re not like the coconut the coconut is the seed of the coconut palm and they’re biged with water and juice and jelly and and coconut that we make the coconut milk but these have tiny tiny little seeds but yet fast and size but they’re Hollow plants but they don’t blow up in the wind because they release their leaves and when the seeds burst and the flowers come out there are masses of bees up in the top there and just sometimes you can just hear them singing away in the tops of the trees [Music] [Music] fascinating to watch when the rain falls on this leaf they dip and they throw the water off so suddenly when it rains they nod and they’re like nodding donkeys throwing the water off so you can imagine if you have a hard shower the whole plants doing this [Music] my name is Anthony hun and I’m in the beautiful island of Barbados this is absolutely a perfect place for rain every day we get a little the rain water is exceptionally good for using on the plants because it’s not chlorine so it’s not treated and it’s wonderful and what we do is we put the little fish in the tanks and they eat the mosquito larage so even the ponds that you see in the Gard we have tiny little fish in and those little fish eat the mosquito Lely glorious medila Granda Flora I just love it and this only grows with the High Altitude and and we just love it people look at it all through here and do you know it grows naturally and sometimes put seeds out on the Phoenix rubini which is that one and and then you’ve got a new plant there just great here’s a spat glus ground Orchid absolutely glorious when you look in the in the in the middle of it there we are look oh there yeah there we are isn’t that sort of Glorious look and look at these little flowers oh they cute that’s the flower and this is the seed not adorable turn out into little little tiny cuc cucumbers and they’re so delicious [Music] more jungle up there with Helicon [Music] is okay up this way now
