I just thought I’d do a quick update on how things are going for us since we moved on to this Caravan site as a lot of people will know the landlord decided to sell the property where we’re living in so we got evicted was given eight weeks to find somewhere else to live and the count with no help whatsoever so on a whim we decided to buy this static caravan 37 foot but it was a big step for us we didn’t know if we’d like it or not but at that time it was the only option that we had and this is the end of this third week here and everything has been brilliant since we got here the community around us such nice people the manager of this site’s mom actually runs the pub across way and within a week they gave Jin a job and on Sunday it was CV day so when jinny finished the shift which is only about 4 hours or so the plated us both up the Sunday Rose to take home and reat later so how nice is that there’s a guy that comes to the side who was a plumber and everybody knows him and he does any job that you want him to do and he’s really cheap the lady that runs the Pub’s husband has got a garage just out road so any car problems you sorted as well and in 3 weeks we’ve put together this Caravan container garden we’ve been at it since we got here and we’ve made some real progress as well as you’ll have already seen but if this is your first time on this channel I’ll just give you a quick look so you can see we’ve got quite a lot done already even on that balcony area lots and lots of vegetables on the way so we’ve managed to put all that together in exactly three weeks but we have worked quite hard at it to be fair but it’s well worth it because we’ve got such a supportive following on this channel everybody thinks what we’re doing here is brilliant which is massively appreciated because when you put in a position like we were it’s not nice at all but we’ve got past that now and we’re building what we can right here and as far as I’m concerned you couldn’t ask for a bunch of nicer people everybody just one step help here we’ve now got people passing that are saying how good they think this setup looks and maybe that’s going to rub off on a couple of people so regarding how we feel at the moment and how it’s going I don’t think it could be going any better and for one person did ask the site fees on this place work hard to around 250 a month and the house we lived in previously was costing us 675 so another really good saving and a nicer place to live so I just thought I’d do a quick update not about plans for a change but on exactly are me and Jin getting on in this new environment and to be honest with you if I’d have known about this place 10 years ago I’d have moved here already so if you want to see what else we’re going to be doing on this Caravan container garden please hit that subscribe button press that notifications Bell and we’ll see you very shortly and thank you so much for everybody’s Support over the last three weeks but now I’m heading indoors cuz it’s just coming up to halfast 8 the sun’s going down and that’s definitely me done at least for now I’ll see you soon

Im so happy for you both. Ive followed you for a long time and you feel like a friend. I was so upset for you when you had to give up your beautiful home & garden so this update is very welcome. One thing I would suggest after many years of caravaning start thinking now about ways to efficiently heat your home in the winter. Now is the time to look for cheap heaters etc.

To be honest the worst place you can be. Here in nl all camping caravan parks are being "attacked" due to the government landgrabs all over the western world….look ahead for another location. Goodluck..you seem to know nothing about whats going on in the world. I advise to educate yourself.

Hi Ivan everything you and Ginny have done is brilliant it actually made me quite emotional, from you being put in a tricky situation having just 8 weeks to find another home and definitely coming out on top.
I'm sure you're going to inspire lots of people as your caravan looks amazing, I'm new to growing from seeds, last year was my first attempt at runner beans from seeds, before that I always bought shop plants and only ever grew tomatoes but this year I've gone crazy, I look at what you have achieved and it inspired me to carry on, now I've got mange tout sugar snap peas aubergine carrots peppers cucumber tomatoes( determinate and indeterminate)runner beans lettuce spinach broad beans marigolds poached egg plants black eyed Susan garlic even a fig tree grown from a cutting and that looks amazing , oh and Brussels sprouts but they're still so tiny so i doubt I will get anything from that.
I've also bought some chard to plant very soon.
I'm loving it, I'm outside every morning checking on them all, oh and I bought 15 strawberry plants, a cherry tree, 4 raspberry bushes and 4 blueberry bushes, I also bought a little miss figgy dwarf fig tree the leaves are so pretty, have you seen them they're beautiful, I've even got myself 3 water butts so really getting into the good life, I did start a compost bin but the fruit flies are driving me mad, it's right beside my herb poly tunnel and they get me each time I'm picking my herbs so my son is going to take the bin away, shame but my court yard garden just isn't big enough to house it.
By the way, I'm a girl, you called me Steve last time you replied ☺️but I don't mind I'm always getting called Steve

Delighted for you Ivan, honestly you look so much happier like a weight has been lifted from you both. Having had done to us twice before by landlords what was done to you guys I can genuinely empathise. We simply got lucky while homeless that we still were young and had our 9 to 5s to be able to save up and buy a spot but that's our own story. Fair play to you both the amount of wisdom I've got from you over the years is indescribable. Keep doing what youre doing chief, lots of love and best wishes from a long term viewer in Ireland.
