we are back at the Chateau and ready to continue Renovations on the master suite but that’s for next week’s Vlog because as soon as we came back from Sweden we took a ferry crossed over to the UK. we took you with us to show you some beautiful southern English Countryside and the most stunning Garden I’ve ever seen and I hope this incredible Discovery is as inspiring for you as it was for me we have arrived in England at my parents on the beautiful come here Mom and we have Hildegard come here and we have Hildegard with us so we’ve got all the grandparents reunited it’s probably been about six years now since you’ve all been together and it’s a beautiful sunny day and it’s not raining in England and I think the last time Hildegard was in England was 10 years ago for our wedding now we’ve got some ideas of where we might take you Hildegard I think you’re going to enjoy it yeah oh thank you it’s a little bit flatter than the mountains that she’s used to but it’s still beautiful look at this everyone in the car yeah we’re coming in the car it is beautiful it’s very inspiring actually dad at this one you are definitely very green fingers what do you think Ella do you think Grandad’s Garden is looking nice that’s is it we’re getting lots of ideas for our garden aren’t we Philip oh yes [Music] so where are we it’s a forest which is really old uh but it’s called The New Forest so it was a forest formed by William the Conqueror well you know him he’s he’s very famous in Normandy yeah I I think it might be a bit confusing I said this was the New Forest and right now we can’t see any trees at all can we it’s pretty new so but I know if you circle around a bit towards the car park we can see some Woodland and that’s pretty dense Woodland over there and look how happy Ziggy is oh goodness Ziggy is in his element yeah we’ve lost him we’ve lost Ziggy and [Music] Ella we actually promised the kids there was an ice cream van I’m not sure it’s true but that’s our motivation to get them to walk apparently there’s an ice cream van somewhere I don’t know isn’t there Grandad I don’t know if it’s here today [Music] though it’s windy at least it’s sunny I’m not complaining [Music] [Music] Phillip we’re on vulture Hill uh no vultures here of course but this was given that name by affectionately by The New Forest Runners and on a Sunday in August when the temperature was 35° and you were running back up here after running 10 miles you thought the vultures we going to get you [Music] [Music] what have we got here girls cream should we get some for Ziggy yes what are you going to have girls you want the screw B look at ly ATS it’s like the best I think this is Ziggy’s first ever ice [Music] cream we spent three wonderful days showing Phillips mom our favorite places in my hometown but after a month of helping us at the chatau it was time for her to go back home to South Tyrol. we are so grateful to have such incredible and supportive family what are we going to do without your mum I don’t know we need to find a gardener and a babysitter and a babysitter and a cook yeah [Music] have a good [Music] we’re giving Ziggy a bath because he decided to go swimming in the pond didn’t he and he’s a bit stinky now Ziggy time for a bath jump in how should we do that we need something we got to jump him got to try and get him into the B girls I know get him in there yeah ah it’s big enough to sit come here come here come here come [Music] come oh sey good boy good [Music] boy it’s going to SM [Music] enjoying it where’s his color I took it [Music] off he’s such a good boy girls do you fancy having a bath in this bucket yeah okay good good boy uhoh uhoh everybody El come on Ziggy Ziggy come on oh he likes to try and dry himself on your legs doesn’t he wait wait wait wait wait Zig now who’s next Ella surprising to see how easy it was to use this small container this round space to make the dog look and SM smell better however if you first purchase of a website or [Music] domain we just arrived red at Exbury Gardens which is down the road from us about 20 minutes no half an hour and we’ve come here because Dad recommended that we should come and see this he said it’s super inspiring for us for the what we need to do at the chatau for instance having a massive R dendon yeah they’re stunning aren’t they it’s a grade two listed Gardens you can’t visit it’s part of a Mana house but you can’t visit the Manor house but you can visit the gardens and look there’s a planter it’s said to be the UK’s best Garden of this type of garden so we’re very excited this is dangerous for me to see these plants look at these they’re beautiful oh no I’m going to spend a lot of money here can you get this in your car I can I can well we now we don’t have Hildegard’s huge suitcase there’s definitely space for this and worst case we leave one of the children here it’s 104 think that’s good value 104 I think that’s that good value I don’t know it seems expensive but it’s a big plant so it’s probably good value look at this Acer oh my goodness I like that the the combination of red orange and white oh look even their they got some look at this there oh my goodness I’ve never seen that many girls have already oh beautiful girls what’s the plural of what’s the plural of renon rendra beautiful shop I don’t know beautiful things I stud this Garden was created by Lionel Rothschild but actually in England we always say Roth’s child which is completely wrong which might not be the right pronunciation no and he built it he built it in he began the Garden in 1919 and he had the ambition to create one of the finest Gardens in the UK and maybe even the world creating it and basing it around his favorite plant the rododendron which I think we have noticed is everywhere here when he first started he had to employ 150 men to dig the ground and apparently they used spent hops from the local Brewery and they put them into the ground to give it extra nutrients so maybe that’s where we’re going wrong maybe we need to get some hops from the local Brewery and bring them back with us have you heard John we need more [Music] beer oh right Anna Anna you need to come and smell this see if you get can you get the smell on on a camera shot on not on this camera no do that we can come back here Ella now quick quick otherwise we’ll miss the train I’m late to the train we are six sorry we couldn’t get off the where’s engine he’s coming he’s coming we’re going on the steam Railway around part of the garden four adults and and two children that is so nice it’s fantastic is that your ticket express Ticket it’s ticket a real ticket better than those nasty Bits of Paper let’s have a look Ella show me what is it it’s your express Ticket you got to keep that it’s a souvenir it’s a real steam train so it’s yeah uses call yeah yeah Leo Rothschield who died fairly recently who was denied a train set when he was a younger boy because his father thought he should learn the Family Trade which was banking so he was 75 when he got to build this train track and this way what would you like to build at 75 oh not there yet a little while to think [Music] [Applause] [Music] about oh it’s okay [Music] I can see the light at the end of the tunnel John were you referring to the renovation of The Chateau [Music] [Music] but then something magical happened the driver asked me if I want to join him in the cap did he see the sparkles in my eyes or did he know that I was one of the world’s most famous influences in the waste pipe sector I don’t know but one thing is sure he made my [Music] the green set on the I can’t believe and now it’s me she used to come here quite regularly the queen came here regularly yeah did you always take the train then they were they were friends of the um Rothschild family yes [Music] [Music] I know Ella what’s your favorite color here in the garden I don’t know you don’t know [Music] so beautiful I really get inspired to work more in our garden there’s so many things to do with our garden and if you never go and visit a garden you never see what a garden could be and so I find that extremely inspiring oh I don’t know what smells but there something really really nice [Music] Welling I’m so impressed by this Garden by its sheer size the variety of plants and it’s never ending I’m just walking walking and every r with dendrons in every color it’s huge and it’s beautifully planted everywhere there’s no way to explore that in one afternoon just a little sidewalk [Music] [Music] here it looks also natural but I do know in order to maintain a garden the size you need I don’t know I really don’t know how many how many gardeners they have without people with an enormous Fortune we wouldn’t have amazing buildings like Chateaux and it’s the same for Gardens without a fortune like the Rothschild family Gardens like this wouldn’t [Music] exist I think a place like this is a true work of art it takes experience it takes a lot of time a lot of people talent to create a place so pleasing so soothing and so harmonious we not there yet at the sh [Music] look at this at the end of the garden and look what I see in the distance on one side the most amazing Garden I’ve ever seen and then you turn around and there there’s a sailboat in the distance my kind of place it’s fantastic that’s the last part of the garden and it’s really close to the river Buy it’s a beautiful river that I had a chance to navigate with a sailboat when I did my sailboat lessons in England we sailed up the river bu amazingly romantic River and this Garden is lucky enough to be situated right at the edge of this River look at this look at this look at these boats there I’m speechless I’m honestly speechless and I’m so inspired I can’t tell you how much I’m inspired I want to go home I want to go back buy plants clean the garden work just make it make it better will never be like this of course but if it was just a small extract of this garden and just to capture the mood that I’ve seen here one of the moods that I’ve seen here if I can create that somewhere in our garden I would be very [Music] happy I can’t quite believe it but in a few days we’re going to be celebrating our fifth year here at the Chateau which is completely crazy the time has gone very very fast and you may remember that we decided to name one of our candles sesme after that very special date when we got the keys to the chatau it’s also the time of year where mock orange is blossoming in our garden and this is the base scent for our candle sayme to celebrate this we’re going to be offering up to 25% discount off both of our candles and for 4 hours only on the 16th of May if you’ve always wanted to try one or you maybe need a new one this is the perfect time to get yours check out all the details in the description of the video thank you so much for watching and we’ll see you again next week where we’ll be continuing work on the renovation of our master suite [Music]

  1. The Rothschild garden is an amazing paradise. All the gorgeous colors so carefully cultivated and cared for. The little train is a lovely touch. Thank you for sharing the day with us. ❤

  2. Thanks for sharing the stunning gardens of Exbury with us! Visiting the great gardens of the world is a passion of mine! One of my huge favorites is Buchard Gardens on Vancouver Island and Huntington Library and Garden an hour from my house in California…

  3. Love it that you take Ziggy along your adventures-that garden was exquisite and so many plants/bushes, azaleas, rhododendrons and more are frequent here in WA state. The Pacific Northwest. Sad to see ‘grandma’ leave you all-you could tell how much a bond she has with the girls. Precious!! Thank you Anna and Phillip.

  4. What a great episode. Seeing all the grands together with your girls was so lovely. Ella running after Oma’s car as she was leaving made me tear up. Love the fact that Mr Rothschild finally got his train, even if it took a few decades. He sure left an amazing legacy with his garden. My favourite rhododendrons are the light yellow ones, so glad you showed a few. I can totally see rhododendrons in your chateau garden, interwoven among the trees so they get a bit of shade. Anna the shirt you wear at the end, looks crocheted, is gorgeous.

  5. The Rithchild family is the most corrupt destroying family on earth. Filthy rich and have bever enough. Together with thecWEF the want to make sevillians slaves. “You will own nothing and be happy. They want a world government and control us. Maybe you don’t see it yet, but mark my words.

  6. What beautiful garden and with its own steam train 🚂 What a wonderful time with family. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us 😍😘

  7. There’s a new gadget , heat and movement sensitive , it makes a ratchet noise and sprays water , to scare hogs boars deers .
I live right near New Forest 🌳.

  9. The concentration of colors in certain areas of the garden is phenomenal! Almost looks mystical!
Phillip looked very happy up in the engine car 😊

  10. That garden is so lovely and reminds me so much of my childhood. I grew up in the Southeastern United States where the Magenta Azalea 🌺 was very prevalent. I think it was a popular trend in gardening during the 60s and 70s and just blew up all over the Deep South. Our yard was covered in them. Also the Magnolias and you’d see Camilla has well. Rhododendron are beautiful and colorful. So many colors to choose from. I hope you’re able to bring some of this back to France.

  11. I think your next project should be a walled garden like in the film The Sercret Garden. The girls would love it, and an inclosed area could be the more private cosy garden with smaller planting with an entrance just hidden behind the trees. Just an idea, it's what I would do if I had the space.

  12. It seems like Rotschild family created themselves a heaven there, while turning Palestinian lives into a hell.

  13. Ha I was wondering if you can afford a boat then if people send you money for the chateau. How do they know if it's being used for your boat???
