How I filled the bed:
1. Yard & Garden Waste
2. Used soil from grow bags (checked for pests and disease)
3. Compost
4. Organic potting soil
5. Mushroom Compost/Black Kow

I recently received this new novel raised bed from Vel garden and I decided that I would make it my flower bed so I cleared out that area added the raised bed and now I’m going in with some scraps from my yard and garden I’m stepping on them just to remove any air pockets now I’m filling this up with mostly what I have on hand and so I’m going in first with some used soil from my grow bags I like to reuse the soil in my grow bags as long as I didn’t have a lot of pest or disease in it and with these bags the soil was pretty good then I went in with some compost a friend of mine gave me some of her compost and I also added some compost from my rotating bin it’s black gold for sure so after adding that I went in with some organic potting soil mix that I always use from my local Nursery I added that in and then I went in with some mushroom compost as well I’m breaking all of that in and I’m going to get my flowers sewed happy gardening [Music]
