The strappy plants can be cut down to soil level. If the dead looking ones don’t come back, you could divide the living one up, the care for the new cutting in place of the dead plants.
I would recommend that you run that reticulation and check for blocked sprinklers. Unscrew a pretty much all or them, clean filters and clear spray heads with a fine pin and air pressure.
