Our Plans for the Garden | DITL Vlog

Welcome to my Vlog Channel. I’m Andrea a mum to 3 boys living in the North West of England. I upload vlogs every Monday afternoon at 5pm. memories have stay because some last forever the love never F hi everyone welcome back to another Vlog um we are on the same day as the last Vlog Monday back holiday Monday basically and I said at the end of the last Vlog that I would do a vlog um about um what our plans are for uh the garden and inside the house um so the last Vlog I talked about the um the porch area where I wanted to take out the inside door and carpet and I also want to carpet the front room cuz it’s the same stupid carpet that I hate so that’s on the cards at some point probably towards the end of the year um just because um it’s something that can be done in winter so um we’re going to concentrate on the outside stuff first um makes sense doesn’t it and obviously the outside work will like have a lot of mud and uh mess so I don’t want that on a brand new carpet even if I would uh take care when coming in the house but you know it sometimes just gets muddy doesn’t it so um yeah I will show you the garden and kind of describe what I want I haven’t actually drawn a plan of it which I will do I think I might do that today actually um draw a little plan um of where we want everything to go and um yeah I’ll show you and try and describe what I want ma is having a little rest on that little makeshift seat that I made it’s very comfy I put this in here that was from the uh uh porch area like I said in the last Vlog um and like I said I can’t get rid of things I don’t know what is wrong with me it doesn’t go there we’re probably just going to take it outside and uh take it apart and take it to the tip we’ve had it many years it was in the it was in our old house we had one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen area I believe and um yeah we’ve got one of these upstairs I think the one upstairs looks nicer anyway this is our garden so bear with me that’s our sitting area with the pulara which we don’t want anymore really it’s it is rotting in several areas down here um it’s like a little bit rotted and up there um it’s really difficult to point and do the camera so yeah we don’t really want it um so we’re going to take it down and we’re going to extend the seating area with flags um just a bit further onto the grass because we’ve worked out that that area isn’t big enough it’s not big enough to sit there with a bunch of people and then have a barbecue we have to move the barbecue onto the grass area anyway so we’re going to extend it we’re going to flag it all and then what I want is a little uh summer house so I’m going to have a summer house where the seating currently is and that seating is going to come down here and then this is all going to be flagged basically and then the grass is here and obviously around there and then in the future when we get rid of the the trampoline um when the kids are older and the current shed which is just here can you see it there the current shed when that goes K up we’re going to put a shed next door to the summer house here so we’ll flag or uh concrete this bit at the back and then put a shed there and then all this will be grass except that bit so that is a plan so this year what we plan to do is buy the summer house get rid of the P though buy the summer house put it up um extend out here um and put flags and Mark’s going to do it himself so that’s a plan for this year um we’re not touching any of this um at the minute because we might extend the house out by a meter depending on how I feel I might just um change these doors and things excuse the dirt on these windows I need to clean them it’s actually from outside where Mark um jet washed the floor and it just sprayed on the windows so um yeah I need to do that so in the um driveway it’s all gravel and it’s just well I find it an eyes saw gravel’s fine for me in terms of it’s really good for like letting the water go away and it never floods or anything like that it’s um it’s really good in that respect and it’s really quite good for the environment it’s the best thing you can do on a driveway environmentally um but it’s a little bit of an icea so because the driveway is so big it probably could fit three cars on U we only have two cars obviously um we have decided to take a little bit for um a bed like a flower bed and um it’s going to be quite a big flower bed bed actually so we’re going to take some of the hardcore from the driveway in the bits that we’re going to make a a bed for flower bed and put it here to put the flags on and stuff so we’re actually taking materials from the back Garden moving them to the front and the materials in the front garden putting it in the back um that’s to save money and as you know I hate throwing things away I think it’s stupid if I just threw everything in a tip and then went out and bought the same material for for the back Garden vice versa so we’re going to do a swap um of materials and that’s the plan and then I can put some nice flowers um some nice Greenery out there some flowers and just have something nicer to look at when I look out my front window [Music] if I wrote you a song If I got every word perfectly way at on a thin piece of paper would it make any difference would it change for the better if I wrote you a PO if I posted a letter [Music] is it maybe because I never knew quite where I was and suddenly you told me baby you’re lost but I am to whatever the cost will make so that’s the plan ignore the trampoline I couldn’t spell it and then I just screw it out and write it again um so that’s the plan so over there where the sitting area is is there where the summer house is going extending the sitting area so we can put barbecue on there and stuff flower bed just we’re cutting off a bit of the flower bed here and keeping the rest of this trampoline there and there’s a Rockery behind the trampoline which we just need to get rid of all the plants and you can actually see it um but there’s not really any point see there’s a trampoline stud right in front of it uh we do need to tidde it up over there though um in a couple of days I want a veg patch I’m thinking of putting it behind this shed grass area and that’s the current shed which when the trampoline goes cut we’re going to move or buy a new shed this might be old by then and um put it here next to the summer house so this will all be grass or more veg patch who knows um yeah I think we’ve got too much grass at the minute to be fair it’s really hard to keep on top of um it’s nice to have grass but too much of it can be a pain so I’m trying to reduce the amount of grass we have to just this area really overall um I could um when we eventually move that up there push all the growing to over here and then grass all around here I think I might keep this flower bed but if we do have an extension probably got that’s going to be got rid of because it’s going to come to about here the house the shed will have to move for that um obviously we’re not planning that anytime soon so that is uh the first plan it’s not to um it’s not to scale um that’s my first little plan and then all I need to do is to measure the um Garden properly and do it to scale hi everyone it is now Tuesday I was going to say Monday but it’s Tuesday because of the bank holiday it definitely feels like a Monday um I’ve just taken the kids to school um all on time great stuff making myself a coffee and I’m going to sit outside although so this morning I felt like it was going to be cold so I put a fleece on and it’s already quite warm outside so I might have to change my whole outfit um so yeah I’m going to make a coffee I am going to get the washing and uh hang it up outside because it’s a glorious day put some more washing on normal normal jobs house jobs [Music] so I changed my outfit because it is far too Walmart wear to wear a fleece and leggings and completely all black I I woke up this morning thinking it’ll be cold but quite clearly not so I’ve changed into my dress which is one of the oldest dresses that I own I’ve probably had it about um at least 6 or seven years maybe even longer who knows um I can’t find one like it either I’ll have to have a look around so then I can replace it um so I am going to sit outside in the sun now just takeing some sun get some vitamin D which is very much needed I was feeling a little bit um deflated and a bit like in the last month or two um I think it was just lack of sun miserable rainy days all the time not being able to go out anywhere things like that so I’m going to sit in the Sun and um get some sun which is very much needed um yeah so that’s hint to Chang clothes I came on to tell you that I did change my clothes just randomly we are on the same day um but I was just getting too hot in the Sun so anyway I will um I’ll see you in a [Music] bit you say take me on a treasure hunt I long for something new have you heard the fairies when they sing in Dan oh I wish it was me every night when I close my eyes I see
