hey I’m Scott from New Garden Road teaching you how to grow a biodiverse garden adapted to a warming climate that creates a refuge for your soul today I want to show you this two panel trellis that I created last night for my cucumbers cucumber melons these are not the little cucum melons that you might be thinking of and they grow well into the warmer months of the season they will Outlast your traditional cucumber by far they’re going to taste really really delicious and in between them I’ve got some nosters planted a little bit of Maro and some basil on the side that’s a lot of plants growing in a small amount of space this is really simple construction I’m using six metal staks they’re the 3ft upost staks and then I’ve got six 8ft bamboo steaks zip tied to those metal stakes I simply took a 14 gauge galvanized fencing panel as you can see I’ve got a little bit of space here in between these two flat panels that enables me greater access to the fruit as I begin to harvest keep it organic
