Ive been trying to graft blossfeldia on a short graft sun godess.
This is like my third attempt. They seem to take, they look fine for weeks and then they rot from the union.
I use disposable scalpels i disinfect with isopropil 70%.
Any thoughts?

Is the stock healthy? Looks a little rough on the sides. Airflow is also good to keep them dry. Maybe you need to cut a little more off each time too, if there’s a little rot left it’ll just start up again.
You need to taper the sides of your root stalk. When things dry out the top starts to cup inwards and puts pressure on the graft union. Thats not why this failed but good practice to get into.
