It happened about 4 hours ago when I was leaving for an appointment. I tried plant tape but I couldn't get it to hold in place quite right so I switched to blue painters tape. Yes, I know it's leggy as hell for a kalanchoe I gave up on that long ago. It's a good foot+ tall in a 6 inch pot if that gives scale. I currently have the main stem and 2 branches on right now. There are two other large ones but one goes near the main stem which will be a challenge and the other I don't know where it goes. This plant is rather special to me as I grew it from a baby and it's the biggest one I have and I will be really upset if it loses all it's branches. Please give me any advice you can or if it can't be grafted please tell me how to propagate the branches. I've never had success with somewhat thick and woody stems.

From the Google search I just did let it dry and callous and then stick in the dirt and it’ll root

I think rooting them in water is better option .
