[Music] [Music] all right hubby when it’s not really Day date but we’re going to another Nursery oh what is that over here that’s just down the street from us that we found you see this orange thing that’s cool looking ban [Music] Vias they already taking off on me and it’s April 4th it is freaking gorgeous today it’s freaking gorgeous today Bab okay yeah look at that look at that boken V oh my gosh look at that one in a pot growing like that we could leave it in a pot if we put one in our yard maybe those are crazy what is this look the great that looks interesting what is that that’s not that thing we have in the front in the by the porch do we yeah that’s a queen palm and that little teeny tiny pot it’s very shallow let’s get it looks looks a little deformed okay man I like all these Palms we got to get some queen palms babe that look so nice I was thinking those those are not Queen ponds what are they they are oh they’re just in the ground oh they don’t look all skinny and Nappy well they’ll when you put them in the ground they’ll get better those are beautiful I like the queen palms I know or just like when you see pictures of Florida you know they show you all the fancy stuff I wouldn’t I would not buy a big I buy a baby one cuz what if it dies paying $250 for one that’s going to die how longes it take to get get that big why you afraid we’re going to die before we see that yeah that’s a nice there those type of things yeah those ones aren’t bad either I like those I just hate the stupid pineapple Palms they’re ugly it’s a crap T of what is it Kalia something whatever I don’t know what the name that is oh slumping bamboo if we wanted to get this I don’t know what they call that you can go okay I want that and you don’t need them to put that in you can do that yourself yeah okay that’s all they have for bamboo though well no they got more I’ll show you is that a maple that’s a maple tree yeah I wouldn’t buy that either it’ll die oh look at that what the heck is that that looks dead too reminds me of something we saw down in South America when you were on a mission or whatever training training okay on a mission I’m silly so cool that little pond with all the lies that’s what I want in our backyard just do with all the lies that would be so cool wouldn’t it I have plans so this is what I’m waiting for when you can see things like that coming up oh the ones you planted in in at our house you mean yeah I actually see little versions of those okay I just planted them a week ago okay this is come back a little bit later when these get a little little more mature and figure out which ones are uh good plants and which ones like this are not going to do anything okay is this an elephant ear that is the biggest elephant ear I’ve seen oh my God Bob look at the stock on that a mammoth you don’t think it’s an elephant ear I’m joking I know you’re joking but I’m serious you don’t it is is it it’s huge I’ve never seen one that big oh my God the stalks on it are humongous this is interesting this is some kind of cactus yeah I don’t really like it though it’s interesting but I don’t really like it what is that that’s not a boken video what is it I don’t know looks like B and V but without the Thorns I’ll take it I do like the B that’s pretty that’s pretty let’s go around the other side yeah it got three different tyght we got that whole thing in there too yeah I thought maybe this was just going to be a little tiny um Nursery I think I like the purple one the best I do like the purple yeah didn’t we ours was fuchsia yeah I think I like the purple it’s pretty that’s nice there’s a whole bunch more what is this is not a a ban though no that’s amazing that that grows in the pot like that yeah that would be easier to take care of and make it like the umbrella like I you know that’s not B Be is it it is you can see how old that is from the um trunks on that yeah it’s like they P yeah well I liked what I did to mine uh made it look like an umbrella you can do that with that one like that little orange one that would be the one I probably walk out with I like the purple one oh this one’s manageable I can pick it up what’s that there that’s not a ban is it look at that one over there be and over there isn’t it it’s really purple see how the I think it is a b see how the trunk is uh Twisted oh yeah that’s cool that’s different yeah like it the the leaves on it are huge and light green they’re not usually like that usually it’s this nothing thing ain’t lasting though first hurricane it’s a different kind of first hurricane well we have to put it in a spot where it will survive what is that is that a willow tree what is that I have no idea I seen them around when we were driving around too this one’s already umbrellaed is that a word I said that one’s already umbrellaed if I can find the picture of the ban V that we had I’ll insert it but I don’t know it was beautiful stupid Hurricane by the way we’re apparently in for a horrible hurricane season wow this is this needs trans but that one’s nice look at how green that is I wonder which if we could put it in a pot but that’s got to be like $300 pot that’s $1,000 yeah probably that’s ridiculous just have them deliver that I’m not even kidding I’m not paying $1,000 for it a that one is all bent over it’s beautiful though this one I want that one this one right here can we get it tall yeah it’s kind of tall first big wind and it’s toast that’s true oh what that reminds me we need to screen the Garden today that’s like some heavy duty screen we we it double up BL up what we have or something yeah yeah tomatoes are looking sad in my garden I don’t like this rock those are a lot of tie plants what in the heck is this thing that’s cool this thing and then this one over here that’s a cool looking plant those are uh filad dendrum but they’re the Swiss cheese ones babe these are swiss cheese uh what the heck is this I recognize it but um kind of looks like an arbola but no it ain’t I wonder what that is they don’t have names or anything on any of these this is cool looking too this is not for sale that PL climbing up the uh pole yeah that’s this swiss cheese no it’s not it’s not the pril room something else is it is it the filad dendrum yeah look it is but it’s it’s like an offshoot it’s one of those that grow up the uh yeah but look a root off of the thing it’s pretty cool yeah so we’re just doing a Recon hubby one to see how the bamboo are growing they had just planted them the last time he came here by himself he wanted to see how they were doing goinging and uh show me this Nursery um you we’ll come back and check those out and get some of that bamboo in I don’t know about a month or so I guess crazy that that is in the pot I think that’s called a fan palm that’s crazy but you know palm trees don’t have much of a root system that’s interesting that’s a beautiful Logan videoa right there all that and here we are at Home Depot instead we need cow manure compost Mulch and a SEO Palm to put on the side of the driveway cuz we planted that one I need another one for the other side we’re getting this and that and this that’s pretty that’s 139 for that and a SLE palm and a pygmy [Music] Palm o [Music] the question is can we fit in the Chick-fil-A drive-thru with this you’re probably going to say no what do you think well let’s find out I’m surprised you say no we’re not doing that that’s what you usually would say good morning guys it’s kind of cloudy day it looks like so I thought I would just give you an up a house y or yard update and add it to the Home Depot and Nursery that we went to uh I think I was last week today is 11th April 11th and I’m not doing I’m not been walking because my knee is swollen it’s better today but um or riding the bike I think riding the bike did it so on the walk 30-day challenge if you’re joining me that’s the update there I do post on Instagram and and the uh YouTube Community page so um I’m just going to walk around and show you I have been updating but it really wasn’t much of anything so I thought I would add it to this thing where we went to Home Depot and stuff so all the plants are doing good here um the tie plants and then there’s some more there um like a week actually I think it two weeks ago I did some trimming and it’s still on the ground here so I need to clean that up and stuff so I started doing some trimming there let’s see what hobby has been up to so hobby has been is I keep thinking it’s the wrong word but I think it’s right he’s been propagating a ton of plants to see how that works out um we still have to plant these these these are still in pots um we’re debating on where to put those if that’s where we want I’m still working on the uh bmad graveyard and in the meantime do you see this this is an oak tree growing up in the middle of all this and there’s another one over here too which is a good thing and get rid of this stupid pepper tree oh my God so here’s all did a little garbage picking and found these two ouch I’m grounding in this yucky grass so I have been walking around watering the plants it I don’t know I didn’t really time it every morning um well yesterday I didn’t because it rained a little bit um so I didn’t need to I I want to say an hour but I bet it’s only 30 minutes I never actually timed it and so grounding is good for you look at up if you don’t know what I’m talking about it’s walking in the grass and the dirt in your bare feet and um um when you have your phone in your hand that doesn’t count it’s supposed to be no electronic so you can ground your I don’t know anyway look it up anyway so he he’s trying to see if he can’t plant get some bamboo to grow cuz we want to get some bamboo from these nurseries but I don’t know it’s it’s complicated we pulled up some Australian pines from the down the street see if those are growing uh not looking so good but this is this is this one is doing okay that is I don’t know I pulled that out of the park up at the top of the hill I took a little clipping uh out of a certain I don’t know what kind of kind of um tree it was but I took a clipping and put it in there so his bamboo some of it is he’s got a couple little a couple little thingies starting to grow on the bamboo so we’ll see how that goes so he’s been doing that and I think he’s got some hibiscus and stuff like that up um here started and the Animals got into it so he read read that putting a banana in your plants when you’re trying to propagate and it’s supposed to help I’m sure that’s because of potassium and then he came out here and some animal had gotten into it there’s the banana peel ah I got to move AC is coming on uh he’s got hibiscus and then this is doing really good it drains really well so I am watering this every day where the thing in the front I’m not because it doesn’t drain so you just need a little bit of water but depends on the drainage if you have it your T Cactus inside you w need to water it every day yeah if if it’s in a pot that doesn’t drain so yeah let’s go to the front and get away from this air conditioner yeah we had to turn the air on yesterday I’m a little croaky um um so I have been getting Sunshine every day and water obviously not enough if I’m so croaky so instead of walking uh I have like again I have been grounding doing the grounding um this is a croin um we need to start taking clippings off of that my sister said it’s really easy she her whole backyard is full of cot you just clip it and stick it in the dirt and then we can plant some of those and then we got another SEO pond Palm for the front of the dry because we have one there we need one on the other side those will get huge eventually so um more C manure compost and some mulch um oh this is a pygmy Palm right here it has three it’s hard to tell three stalks we’re going to put that in the front I’ll show you in a second this this needs trimmed but I hate to do it because it’s it’s got little oh there a ton of bees in there and that’s good for my garden so I don’t want to chase that away but I will trim it back eventually the the hubby’s Bonsai thing finally um started growing the Royal Point Sienna I forgot about that over here it looks like it’s dead it’s not growing I’ve been watering it but if I pull on some of the branches did snap off and they were dead but if I pull on this Branch it’s still it’s still alive yeah you can see by the color too but there is no leaves and even that is like it’s not snapping off yeah this is this is still alive but it’s not there is no leaves on it I done I done snapped off all of the branches the dead most of the Dead ones on and stuff are these no that still feels like that’s good oh that’s not no no nope I don’t know to that part it’s like yeah that’s he’s going to shoot me for that but it’s dead so it’s like that side I don’t know I’m going to keep watering it see what happens but nothing I ain’t got no leaves I don’t know what’s going on with that that’s very disappointing what I think think happened is the roots got so big and did they get all the way down there and then the stupid pepper trees is sucking the life out of I have no idea those pepper trees got to go but I’ve heard that story before um the trees are totally bloomed out looking really good I do want to clean up underneath them but I can’t reach this no more but they need cleaned up underneath a little bit I can’t reach it it’s too high now I’ve already CL I’ve already trimmed the bottom branches so much it’s high now anyway the Texas sage is doing really well no blooms on this yet there’s some in the back um apparently they need water every day so they’re looking better still little looking little SK scraggly this is a mamy it’s called a mamy i thought it was a croin but it’s actually a mamy it’s a little different than the croin anyway that’s doing good and then hum stupid fine is crying there but yesterday I went over to my parents house and started cleaning that out to get it ready to sell fun not anyway I found this in the shed this lattice this I don’t know what you call it is for the vines so he hubby doesn’t like it there I don’t know he said it looked clampet meaning you know know Beverly hail berries I don’t know why he said that in front of the window he didn’t like it I don’t know that was the wrong word to use so we’re going to pull that down wrap it around here and put I think it’ll look fine there I was going to paint it but it’s going to be covered up by the vine so it doesn’t matter I believe my dad made that possibly maybe not it kind of looks too perfect he must have bought it I don’t know anyway whatever I saw that in the shed and I said let me get that and that’s doing really well there um my [Music] propagating my uh desert rose I don’t know if those are doing too well but I finally do have some blooms on my Desert Rose I should have took picture of my sister’s Desert Rose yesterday when I was over her house uh it was beautiful so I got some flowers finally and then this is the tree that Bob bought me we’re going to go to oldtime pottery by the way that’s the best price for pots and put it in a pot so it doesn’t grow The Roots don’t grow into ground get a tray for it like that underneath we want to keep it in a pot so The Roots the Roots go everywhere and they that’s why it was probably a good thing that there was one there huge um if I can find a picture I’ll insert it I doubt it though and then the hurricane took it out but all the roots were like going into the drain field not good so um I think it’ll be fine like this it’s already trifi it’s got like a twisted trunk on it and they already I don’t know trained it to do that so you just trim it cuz it can become a humongous Bush if you just let it go crazy but I’m going to keep it a little tree um lavenders I don’t know it’s looking a little peed the ayum the white thing there and ain’t doing good my uh thae plant’s doing okay here the daffodils no snapdragons um I don’t know they I move them see how the leaves are yellow and stuff I had HBY move it out of the Sun a little bit this is not bloomed out but it’s beautiful it has orange like a tangerine orange flower on it it’s gorgeous this is doing awesome see this doesn’t get any drainage but it feels dry right now we it’s not humid here so if it’s humid we I don’t even have to water this so but I’ve been watering it just a little tiny sprinkle it doesn’t need much cuz it doesn’t have any drainage I need to do something about all these leaves in here my gosh I just heard a swarm of bees they’re all in this tree right here yep ton of bees in that tree and then I had an extra lavender I planted it here this kind of gets more sun uh shade I think that’s better and I wanted hubby to plant deogan here he said no I’m working on it him to um change his mind I hate this thing it’s so ugly when we moved here it was this tall yeah it was short it was like a Little Bush and it’s so ugly I don’t hate the thing anyway so the front porch still needs cleaned up so the paint the house needs one more coat in some spaces and then this is the trim color and then we need that needs one more coat you can see I don’t know if it’s coming off on camera but there’s some spots where you can see it’s not good coverage so um that’s why I haven’t done anything with the front porch yet for spring I guess it won’t happen it will happen for summer so this that’s the color that we went with I forget what the name of it is let’s see if I have a little Swatch I’m not totally happy with it is it this coffee beans yeah see but that look at that that don’t even look like the same color it’s called coffee beans um to go with the coffee latte house paint got a coffee thing going here so I don’t know it’s fine I’m tired of picking color it’ll be fine I think it looks good from the street and everything like that so um we still oh we have to do the garage doors the garage doors need painted so there’s still a couple spots so I don’t know those well I thought they weren’t doing very good well first of all this is the dwarf Morning Glory which that’s not really what it’s called but that’s what I was told but that’s not what the pot said and the aium however you pronounce that is doing fine there but in other spots it is not it died in that one over there so that’s doing good but um I thought this wasn’t doing good but no see it’s just blooming again so these are these need to be deadheaded but I’m not I’m just like kind of doing like this and getting the dead stuff off so they’re coming back um my Dollar Tree is coming back it’s Relentless I got to get something to kill that and I put some morning glory in here that’s not doing too great hubby is going to take this out of the pot and put it over there in this spot this spot here was what Calvin and Hobbs went when we used to let the cats out before Calvin passed away they would hide in those woods right there actually Calvin would go in there and hobbies would stand on the outside of it like for the lookout you just stand there as to say Calvin went in here just want to let you know he’s he’s in this part of the woods so we’re going to put this tree he loved going in there um he was a super Hunter which is why he passed because apparently he had a wrangling with a snake anyway we’re going to plant that in there in that spot and that pygmy Palm is going in here so there’s that um and that’s doing fine there but the the white ayum dyed there and then the same thing here these are rebutting or whatever you’re blooming all these little things got to come off and then they’ll there’s a bunch of buds right there so that’s doing good there and I moved the Alo plant which I’m going to try to get out of this pot I don’t know how I probably have to break the pot and plant it and let it get it will get hum fungus in there in there but it seems like the deer have stopped chewing on the clesia clesia I don’t know how you pronounce this um yeah since I put that there also you can put Rosemary th Sage mint maybe I’ll put my mint here cuz I got to take that out of my garden uh it’s getting crazy so I’ll show you that in a minute so anyway um wanteded to clean up this well I wanted to show you that too but I’ll go around I want to clean up this area hubby was trying to propagate bamboo I don’t think that worked out he stole my garbage can from my garage to do I’m like seriously could you not find something else men I’m like it’s fine I’m like but no I don’t have a garbage can you could have found something else whatever anyway a little messy this is how we found this crate that the um plants are over on the other side of the yard when we were going for a golf cart ride it’s really sturdy and so I’m like garbage picking but it worked out good so we’re using it for different stuff so we still have two pots we can use that we just bought from Home Depot and um this is where we keep our salt for the pool top soil potting soil that needs to go that was grass for the patio for the cat before we built the ctio yes rubu I know Woos and um yeah and these are doing okay and they need water we need rain and it’s hard to water these because you have to pull the hose from all the way over there anyway yada yada yada and my grass is looking dead but this is Bea grass it’s drought tall drought tolerant yes and it will come right back I watered the front just cuz I was tired of looking at it but I stopped it’s getting Relentless here it is mid April still really had no substantial rain whatsoever it’s nuts and then this is a mess back here cuz hubby if you haven’t hadn’t seen that video he he’s been collecting some bamboo cuz he’s going to make a um bamboo Hut back there um might take him good 5 years to get it done but hey more power too again and that’s where my she’s shed’s going one of these days I don’t know why we’re keeping this and then this is still dead it I don’t I think that we should move the fire pit over here what do you think make a nice fancy fire pit and move it over here anyway so he’s been drying this out it was green there’s still a little bit of green left and drying this out and he’s going to use it that’s a mess but we get to it eventually I want to redo that underneath that whole tree and you can see the grass needs um cut for sure but I guess in some spots it’s pretty green but other spots it’s looking bad so back here is the Judy tree she’s looking really good that’s my mom’s tree she gave it come from the house that I grew up in here in Florida um she gave me a sapling when we moved in here and she did the same thing at our other house oh no she didn’t give me one when she move we moved here she gave me one to the other house and I we took a sapling of that and brought it over here it’s I want to say it’s a Chinese maple but I’m not sure it’s looking better but I need to clean it up and trim it I want to put a border around it and some Mulch and yeah and there’s actually one over there I’m not going back over there but there is one in the woods there that I know we thought it was dead and we threw it in there and it came to life really doesn’t need much maintenance but I should trim it up so it’s a little more bushy anyway honey Hub hubby calls it the Judy tree so that’s what we’re calling it and then I’m going to make my way to the ctio garden and show you what’s going on in there [Music] so it is 72° this morning I don’t know what it’s going to it’s going to get warmer like I said we had to turn the air on yesterday but it has been a fairly cool spring this year for us nice to have all the sliders open and all the windows open it’s amazing so my son got up I guess it’s goinging outside I’m going to show you the ctio Garden area why are you crying you want me to come in there oh he thinks he’s going to come out no your popup said no you can’t come out here you’re not going to walk more around the yard maybe maybe maybe okay all right so there’s nothing changed here the guys have not put this stuff up for the cat for the cats to climb on yet so there’s that we did bring the the um love seat from the front it’s falling apart a little bit and you we weren’t able to sit in it so so we brought it in for the cats to sit on and we put a stone under there so they can lay on there and be cool um my garden my onions I had extra onions I put them in this pot they seem to be doing better in there than they do in the stock tank and then this is all of my herbs this is basil thyme Rosemary oregano sage and then this is mint and um my sister said take it out of there cuz it will overtake the whole thing so I’m going to find another pot to put that in and my my tomatoes are looking peaked I have been clipping the yellow stuff off of them but there’s like 30 tomatoes growing on there I don’t know why they’re having a lot of yellow yucky looking leaves on it I have no idea anyway I think it’s stressed out a little bit I’ve been taking off the the this leaves looks a little wilty I’m just going to take it off but there’s one pepper there that that is an orange bell pepper this is a red bell pepper red Italian pepper sweet pepper so there’s one two three there this is a regular green pepper there’s one there um there’s a big one right here and then this is a yellow pepper that’s one big huge one there and then I have one one two three green peppers growing here and then there’s a jalapeno two jalapenos here on this one there’s another jalapeno back there and then these are my onions see how they are compared to the other ones they’re not looking too good I might move them over there and then my cauliflower which been told it’s not going to grow but I keep still watering it I don’t know can I make it last to the fall and let it I don’t know maybe I should just pull it out and put the onions in there yeah I might do that so that is how the garden is looking uh there’s nothing different U maybe I’ll show you the the patio um even though we haven’t really done anything different but I’ll show you the plants and stuff um oh it looks like we got a couple yellow leaves there on the fil that’s a filad dendrum and see this the the Texas sage is doing really good look at the beautiful purple flowers on it the front ones are not doing that the Hibiscus is doing really good it has beautiful orange blooms but nothing today sorry guys and then I don’t know what happen this is a Texas shade too but look Sage it’s I’ve been watering the crap out of it and it looks really bad I might have HBY take that out and put this one there this is one so who knows and then these are Eureka Palms and then those are um those are doing really good because I’m guessing it gets dripped from the eaves it is a exoria that’s an exoria too but this is that’s a dwarf exoria and this is regular it will get huge yellow flowers red flowers um you can see the difference of it getting dripped from the eaves here every morning and those are not and they’re smaller apparently they need water and look at this galaa look at how big it is look at all the new buds on it too apparently you can just take this off stick it in the dirt and propagate it that way we’ll see um I did one but it wasn’t doing too well and maybe I need to do a bigger one anyway so the ctio uh patio needs cleaned up a little bit these are hubby’s um Snap Dragons see how much Greener they are I think they need shade so they’re looking really good this is their second Bloom these are the Hibiscus oh my gosh there’s so many blooms this morning wow wow there’s a ton of blooms this morning and then in case you don’t know they fall off every day they bloom fall off new ones start every day see there’s a new one that will be tomorrow these little tiny one little tiny one comeing in a couple days what’s wrong with this one that one’s yucky I don’t know what happened there so is this one yeah I think it’s got some kind of bugs on it oh yeah look that is not good I’m going to have to have a hubby look at that there’s some kind of buggies on there yeah and we got some mols to put in the bottom of the plants I need to trim these two things this is a Palms to keep the moisture in and whatnot so maybe hopefully we don’t have to water them so much so I haven’t really been in the pool it’s been chilly and I’ve been busy I think maybe I might go in today looks like it needs cleaned that’s hubby’s job I clean the patio he cleans the pool we’re a team are we just kidding and hubby’s got his uh ferns here and his uh picture plant you’re supposed to pour water in there and stuff so and this is his Fountain and I don’t know what the name of that is but isn’t that color like brilliant and we pulled this out from the front yard it’s not looking good it’s surviving but it ain’t looking good we need rain you know they just do better with actual rain water well I mean the hose water is rain water but I don’t know this is starting to I think kbby will get upset but I’m going to tell him I think you just need to he needs to clip it it’s getting too stocky yeah and the filad dendrum is not doing that great in there and then here’s the other Snapdragon they’re about to pop needs to take off some of the buds from and dead head them I think you’re supposed to dead head them I don’t know what this is but that’s pretty and that’s I believe queen palm why we bought that I don’t know you was thinking in this tiny little pot it’s going to have to be put in another pot or planted in the ground how about right there in that corner I think that’s a good spot for it [Music] side anyway that’s it that is it for the house and garden updates um yeah I think I’m going to call that done um I’m going to get a thing of water and sit on the swing and drink my water if you can’t walk if you can’t um for some reason another like me I got a bum knee right now it’s swollen it’s better but it’s it’s still a bit swollen um I don’t want to push it so cuz I have other things I have to do you can still sit on sit outside in the sun and get some sunshine and water I kind of think that’s even more important than walking around although you do have to get up and move at some point you don’t have to go for a walk but you got to get up and move and do something at some point during the day but it’s super important to get water and sunshine sunshine for your mental health is so important so do that and early morning sunshine is really good for you it it resets your sleeping I don’t know can you know what [Music] I’m hey look it up circadia Rhythm it’s called and it helps you go to bed early wake up early all the whole the whole thing if you’re stay end up staying late and sleeping in late then it helps you red uh fix that Rhythm there so get some
