hey guys coach here with this week’s plan of the week hey have you ever gone to the grocery store and you said oh man I feel like a honey crisp apple I’m going to get some honey crisp apples this week well here they are and you grow them yourself and I strongly suggest that you do because the flavors that you will get from a fresh picked fruit of any kind is going to be 10x anything that you get get in the store honey crisp apples which I had to brush up on a little bit extremely cold tolerant down to zone four even three in some microclimates and I am going to snag one for brooken pond honey crisp apples this is the standard one you can find some semi dwarfs here and there I don’t know if they have Ultra dwarfs yet they might if you look for be root stock but honey crisp apple can be pruned and it goes to about 20 25 ft by 15 20 ft wide as far as the standard size and you get that wonderful honey crisp sweet flavor that is uh just unique there are some other ones out there that rival it but one of my favorites this will be going in brooken pond this year I guarantee you anyway honey crisp apple cold tolerant and warm down to about zone8 loves to be fed uh early fall and as soon as it blooms out it will really do well you can do them in containers but the standard ones get a little big but you can try it anyway hey coach says try a honey crisp apple we are going to try one later this year thanks bye for now
