Cherry the Pink Poodle stopped by the Backyard Garden ahead of the Cherry Blossom Festival

Meteorologist Jordan West meets Cherry the Pink Poodle!

that’s right I’m live in the backyard garden with Paul Williams and Alice Williams and of course the Beloved Cherry the poodle what’s up Cherry good say we’re ready we’re just vibing huh so so you guys been doing this for quite some time where did you get Cherry from and how long have you guys been doing this well we’ve been doing it for about 30 years but Cherry we got from Arcadia Florida Princeton poodles we rode uh 6 hours down stayed the night picked her up 6 hours back and she wound up at her first festival and been doing it ever since perfect perfect we are just 5 days now from the Cherry Blossom Festival what all what are some of the events that she will be participating in well we tried to be as busy as we can be we’ll start in the morning with Stratford we are always invited over there then we’ll do a daycare for Alice’s place then we’ll do ribbon cutting uh Friday we’ll do dock diving Sunday morning we’ll do parade Sunday evening we’ll do Third Street Park next week we’ll do so it just start just starts and continues yeah busy very very busy definitely it’s little chilly out here and she getting all warmed up make you know warming me up nice and fluffy have you noticed the pink nails very shy right now but let’s see the Nails nail polish pink wow beautiful and her bling there you got the bling on to the leash is all diamond and shiny as well cherry out here having a good time so why do y’all do this we do it for the smiles and the joy that it brings Rings people said I said charge for it and I said then it would be a job wouldn’t be near as much fun exactly exactly and one more question does she actually know she’s pink I know uh color or dogs are typically colorblind however she is very vibrant that she knows she’s pink we think she knows she’s special where you know I’m not sure but when we start spending more time with her she knows she’s going to get to go more places and meet more new friends and just had those Smiles well I’m excited to see her at all of the events she’s been a really good dog just sitting out here for the past 30 minutes so I am looking forward to it but yeah the Cherry Blossom Festival is just five days away I’m sure you’ll see Paul and Alice and Cherry of course throughout the next couple of weeks but yeah live in the backyard garden I’m meteorologist Jordan W West with Paul Williams 13 wz News
