it is said that a farmer and his wife owned a golden colored hin on their Farm which laid a golden egg every day that they sold to meet their needs however in a moment of greed the farmer thought of exploiting the hin further by slaughtering it to extract the imagined golden eggs from its belly the wife tried to stop him from this act but he did not listen to her advice the farmer took the knife and cut open the hin but he found only its inals inside and there were no golden eggs as he had expected the farmer and his wife sat crying and lamenting their decision as they had lost the hen that was their daily source of income due to Greed
