That’s It! It is finally done. Vegetable Gardening Basics by The Ripe Tomato Farms is live and ready for enrollment! Its taken me two years but I’m truly on the other side of this huge endeavor….and I’m still in one piece! LOL.

A few years ago as the channel was growing, I think we just reached 60K subscribers or so, I reached out and asked what more I could do to build this community even more. Some suggested Patreon and others thought Memberships was a good idea. I appreciated the loyalty but I just felt those were low value propositions.
Two other things were suggested though…one, a book and two, an online course. With Vegetable Gardening Basics, we’ve done both. 12 in-depth HD video lessons spanning everything from garden planning to harvest and winter rest, plus a 150+ page PDF guidebook to help you every step of the way. My most complete tutorials to date. On top of that, each chapter has a thoughtful multiple choice quiz to test what you’ve learned on each subject.
Self-paced and lifetime access. Download the guidebook and refer back to the videos for as long as you like. I’m truly grateful for all those that suggested this. Never in a million years did I think this is something that I would do, but as I dove deeper into it, I realized how much value it could bring. I’ve come out the other side with even more knowledge on how to grow food, as well as how to better teach what I’ve learned.
Rest assured, nothing is going to change here on YouTube. In fact the videos and free content is only going to increase now that the course is done. For the last two years it has consumed so much of my time, it will be nice to just get back to making simple, informative videos in my garden again!
Happy growing guys, enjoy the course, and thanks for all the support!

''Hello, very nice👌👌👍👍
Cool. Well done you.
Is your last name Fyvie by chance?
Hi Sir, there's nothing wrong with making some dough ($$) for all the help and advice you've provided all of us for all these years. I'm 49 years old and am very generous, but learned the hard way how valuable our time is. Don't sell your self short, Monetize, do the patron, sell merchandise, etc. It will be the typical entitled crew that will have a complaint, that everything should be for free. Sadly, in this day and age it's impossible to keep everyone happy. Congratulations, looking forward to the course!
Congratulations..😊
Good luck! Look into selling T-shirts, garden items, books, ect… How long is this course? Thanks!
Đất rất tơi xốp cây ớt sẽ phát triển rất tốt .
Im 10 years old and i love gardening thank you for this channel
I will buy next income tax thanks
With all of the crops you grow, maybe consider a course or just some videos about how to preserve what you grow. People would grow more at home if they had an idea of how to preserve what they grow.
With as much info and expertise you've given away for free, I absolutely support you monetizing your content. Its definitely worth the value. Congrats on finishing the course!!
This is SO exciting! Great job Jeff.
Congratulations! Greetings from Cape Breton!
Jeff, I have a question. I started tomato and pepper seedlings in Jiffy seed start and bottom watered with worm tea. When it came time to pot them up, I got back of organic potting mix (Lanbert’s, I believe). Felt like good, rich potting mix. However, when I watered, the pots felt kind of heavy to me but I let it go, only watering when the water on the dry side but it took days to dry out. Before long, I noticed leaves citing and falling off. I replanted done seed and noticed the same thing starting to happen, so I imported them, added a lot of perlite hoping it will drain faster and I don’t know results yet but wondering what you think.?
I cannot begin to tell how amazing it is to have learned the things I just learned in this video. You are an amazing fella with a clearly, big heart. Thank you for using your knowledge and gifts to help so many people, myself included! And to think you've come all this way without trying to get anything monetary out of jt. I would be shocked completely if anyone ever tells me that you dont live an abundant life, but you are clearly a God send. Thank you and thank you for posting! (I had no idea you were working on a actual course; your channel is a full meal on its own.)
Jeff well i think this is brilliant news, your teaching via youtube method is excellent, information thought out and relevant, simple to understand and use. I will certainly check the course out. Well done and thank you
