The city of Chandler is hosting a class to teach residents how to manage their landscapes during the summer heat and conserve water.
know we’ll be here before we know it and one East Valley city is making sure we’re all ready all right meteorologist Lauren Reon is back now to show us how the city of Chandler is getting prepared for triple digit temperatures this summer because they are coming I know right around the corner yes so Chandler is hosting irrigation and Landscape workshops these classes will teach you how to get that perfect yard with low water use and maintenance this next class is coming up this Wednesday May 8th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. it’ll be at the sunset library on Ray Road and during this class you’ll learn how to protect your yard from the hot summer temperatures you’ll also learn about proper plant selection heat mitigation and ways to identify the negative heat effects the workshop is free but you’ll need to sign up ahead of time on 12news.com you’ll find that link to sign up the city of Chandler is offering many other free classes you’ll also want to check that out on our website all right Lauren thanks so much for that
