Another very productive garden project performed by the happiest gardener I know! Loved it! Hope that cat finds his/her way back home.!💕
Benjamin is getting SO-O-O tall!
I think another kitty wants to adopt your family again. They can sense the sweet spirit there.
Love when you include your children "helping" you in the garden. Such great character building for them! (and for those of us who watch, too!)
oh my goodness random cat 😊
I don’t like lawns, waste of water, fertilizer, waste of space, I prefer a mix of cloves and native flowers, that give nitrogen to the soil, don’t require tons of water, don’t get damage by traffic or pets, don’t get bad patches, provides food to pollitators
that kitty heard you were the best kitty mommy in the neighborhood
Tulip growers: In the spring, at the end of the season, be sure to top the blooms off of your tulips before they start to fall. Dig your tulip bulbs each year, after the foliage has died down completely. After digging, make sure to dry (cure) them thoroughly. After drying, it is ideal to store them in a well-ventilated area at a temperature of 65-70 degrees. They should be stored in thin layers in flats or trays or even hanging in mesh bags.
Good morning Laura and family, I've been watching your channel for 9 years and love it, all the information you give us and show us how it's done thank you .
Oh wow wish my soil looked that good I'm putting compost in the front yard raised bed it's made out of bricks. It's a shade to part sun, some of my plants will be hostas. Thank you.
Have a wonderful rest of the day. Benjamin thank you for showing us the strawberry flower.
🌱 🙂 👋
16:49 uh oh…….cat #4???😊
If we enjoyed this video…well Laura i enjoy ALL your videos.
Confused?? Why dig up the tulip bulbs to replant in fall? I thought, like daffodils, they remained in ground always for blooming in following years?
Anyone know the title of the instrumental music playing near the end at 18:08 when Laura was planting the Rudbeckia and Echinops?
Why can’t you leave the tulip bulbs in the ground? I thought once you planted them, they just stay and produce again the next year.
That kitty is a Siamese mix. I have four of those and they are my favorite cats. The boys especially really love their people.
Lots of beautiful plants today what a show it will be when they bloom.
New cat! 🐈 this has the potential to unite Douglas Russell and Cheddar to ward off the invader! 😺 🐈 🐈 😂
“Who are you”? lol 🐈⬛
Looks like a Fred (cat) or Freda
Good morning. Thanks for the bulb info. Boy, has Benjamin grown! He's getting so tall.
What is that gorgeous evergreen just behind you at .25? It is so fluffy and cute.
I am just so in awe with how you are with a camera. I swear , I feel like I’m right there with you, riding around in the gator. It’s always a tiny bit of a surprise when the show is over and I find myself right back at home knowing I have to go back out and battle with my garden. In a zone 9 B and over this winter y garden exploded- yes over the winter. Tomatoes are about 7 feet tall-what do I keep and what do I toss and replace . My drip irrigation isn’t working and replacing the batteries didn’t help I’ve got sweet potatoes and peas that have volunteered (another long story on those). And I have some African daisies and a pineapple sage that have completely taken over one corner -large corner. And I’m 80 yrs old and have no one to help. Woe is me. Ha. If that’s the worse thing in my life I count myself blessed. I’ll figure it out. Have a good day and thank you for this delightful show.
Great video! So nice to see Benjamin out there with you.
And what’s the newest member called 🙀☺️
How do you keep your strawberries from getting eaten by insects? Almost all of my strawberries get nibbled on by something.
I love your videos and have learned so much over the years! My invasive rhizome are Lilly of the Valley. They drive me crazy. Never did I realize how they would spread. Now they are into my lawn and into my other plants. How can I stop them or get rid of them? I live in a Zone 4B Northern NY…we are still getting frost.

LOVE the little gator ride. It would be so great if each episode could have a chore, a little gator ride, and a mini tour of different garden sections ❤ PRETTY PLEASE !?
This storing tulip bulb experiment is one that I am excited about. I've always wondered how this would work. The bulb growers have to do something like this to get bulbs in the first place (or I think they would in any way).
I’m curious, I understand the deadheading of the tulips, but why do you leave the leaves? And at what point do you get rid of the leaves when they yellow?
I dug up my bulbs and replanted last year and it worked. Was so happy to have the extra space for the summer in my small garden. It certainly is hard to wait for the leaves to brown!
Hello, Laura and family. question about deadheading the tulips. You have so many. Could you have taken a hedge trimmer and gone down the row and just cut off the bloom heads. Do you have to go way down into the plant and get all of the stem? What a time saver it would be to just trim the spent blooms all off with the trimmer. Thank you for sharing all of your gardening knowledge.
I just wanted to let you know that your videos are being posted on another channel. They post other garden stuff but it looks like they post mostly yours. The name of the channel is called proven winners. I didn’t know if you knew that or or if you’re affiliated with the channel or not
I attracting stray cats to my home like crazy. My brother use to ask the stays where their “suit cases were”.
Really good ❤
I love Mascari💜
💚 💜 Another kitty😂….hmm is this fishy behavior. Cats suddenly just showing up at Laura and Aaron's house. From the videos it appears that it's some what sucluded.
Question Laura , since bulbs are planted in the fall , why dig them up to store them ?They should come back next year 🌷
More more more, 😂darn weather had to come I enjoy watching you in the morning it starts my day.
Hello Benjamin
That's a special job you're doing for your mama. I'm sure next year it'll be yours👏😍
Sorry about Creekside! Today is The Ascension of our Lord and a Holy Day of Obligation. Many prayers for ALL dealing with weather & tornadoes. God bless them all. God speed, Laura! 🙏🏻
So much great information. Thank you, Laura!
Musarci is so hard to irradiate. It’s beautiful when it’s blooming, but mine always push up growth as soon as the weather turns cold and makes the flower bed look like grass is growing in the bed. I’ve pulled it out, dug it out and it still comes back.
Red Huskers Penstemon has such beautiful blooms and the foliage adds a wonderful touch of color to the landscape. In my part of
Iowa it does self seed after blooming. So it come with benefits!
The sprinklers going off on the lawn in the background was Heavenly!
Hi, just love watching all your content. Question- do you do the same with all your tulips on your property or just the ones in your cut garden?
I can’t remember what seed trays those are
Hey Laura, to reblooming the bulbs I fertilize them after they bloom so that they may set buds for the next year. It did wonders for my lilium blubs and my amaryllis are now producing 2 flower shoots every year. Lots of love. I hope it helps anyone.
Another cat moving in ? lol
can you dig up the bulbs with the leaves on and leave out in the sun for the greenery to dry up and then store the bulbs until fall? Will this method still recharge the bulb or does it need to be in the ground?
