  1. Maybe a lot of people are like me, war fatigued, news fatigued. Just taking a break and wanting to see something beautiful in this Spring season of bloom after the winter of war. It's nice to breathe once in a while and try to forget the horrors of this world for a few moments. The recharge doesn't last long, but it's necessary to keep going. I know our Blessed Hope is not much further away. I love to get lost in worship of our Savior. Have you heard this Psalms 32:7 song by Selah before? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUx2WcC9JKo

  2. I have a job now so things are better than they were the last time I commented. I still need more hours though. My body is starting to break and I don't know if I can get a second job especially since I'll have to ride my bike to and fro to work.

What if I have to get on disability:/.
I'm sure I will heal eventually but not if I'm constantly working and riding across town.

I've never felt like this before. Even though I finally have a job suddenly my body is injured. I really think I might not be able to take much more.
    I'm trapped and I'm scared.

Any of you out there who have a decent enough living cherish it and be glad you're not me.

  3. Hi Kaye. Your one of many YouTubers rethinking their content because of not making enough money. It’s Google suppressing videos for folks that are conservative. It’s really sad because many channels that I watch are considering quitting. I check every time that I watch a video on a channel to see if I’m still subscribed because I’m unsubscribed on the daily. I was unsubscribed to you and to resubscribe today. Google is unsubscribing and shadow banning. There was a time before their suppression when you could make descent money, but not any longer. Especially if you report on news or medicinal health. Some channels say that they get attacked in the comments section too. I think that is a lot of bots that do that as well as negative people. I want you to know that I truly enjoy your content and faithfully watch your videos. Perhaps you could consider a sponsor or sell some merchandise. I feel for you Kaye. Love you ❤.

  4. I view your videos frequently & live in Moore County,TN. We live on one our farms & am age 62 retired psychologist. Our farm is my respite from the world of negative press & bad behavior from major politicians. I worry a lot about our already great country. I have struggled in early years & lived hard to accomplish educational goals.
    Gardening saves lives I’m convinced!
    Blessings 💙

  5. Well Kaye, You've had a steep learning curve moving to TN. It's very different from CA. I've had gardens in zones 5, 6 and 7 over the years and now live and garden in the temperate rain forest of Appalachia. After 20 yrs of the rainforest, you learn that all gardening is based on the weather. I would have been planting instead of making the video during the break in the rain. I have come to use gallon milk jugs as hot kaps. Cut out the bottom, remove the lid and cut a small hole in the top of the handle. Set out the plant, cover it with jug and pin it down with a stick or metal rod through the handle. That gives you the protection you need from the storms. Then sit down and tell us what's going on from the porch or house when the rain comes. It's how gardening goes and I'm thankful I don't need to do much watering. Some years you plant between the raindrops and are thankful you have a garden. God is in charge and things are done in his time and not ours. Farmers live and die by the weather and you are experiencing that right now. Cheer up Kaye, it could be much worse. You might learn a fair bit from the veggie boys. They show how to grow out plants well between their greenhouses and field production. Yes they are a zone cooler but you'll learn the rythym of growing in four different seasons. I think you'll learn much. Hope you feel better about the garden soon enough.

  6. Medicinal plants and the process of harvest and storing ??? thats why I came here NOT just because Kaye IS beautiful , reminds me of my own sister

  7. Cooking and canning preparing for the HARD times that WILL soon be here, get ready for times like the Great Depression

  8. What do you do with all that you grow? I love to see how much people need for a year etc.. how do you store it? Do you sell or share much of what you grow? Great videos

  9. Hi Kaye. I feel that your storms are being done purposely by the bad people. I love a your videos no matter what they are . My deal is I just got so tired of everything that I guess I shut down. I have been trying to get my garden in ordered before an upcoming surgery on my left hand and at 74 I have really slowed down. Please keep up your great work as we do appreciate the things that you do… you also remind me of my aunt , one of my dad’s sisters. ❤❤❤

  10. Love your videos! I would love to watch your medicinal plant videos that you mentioned. Some YouTubers put their videos as a link/picture on ‘our’ upper right of the screen. You could ‘double dip’ on viewers that way.
We moved from California to Oklahoma, and we definitely have more freedoms here. There was just legislation presented to the Oklahoma Congress to request to stop the seeding the clouds that is creating these catastrophic weather patterns. Many are becoming interested.

  11. It's 6:00am in Chattanooga on Thursday after storming all night. I hope you made it through the storm without too much damage, Kaye. God watch over you and protect you!

  12. Death of the dollar
    while two kids
    run barefoot hollering
    Look at me!

    Growing like weeds
    not by the day
    but by the hour
    eating their way

    around the knowing
    that their world
    ain't heaven growing
    'round each curl

    Everything spins
    in swirling order
    from where we stand
    might feel like horror

    Diamond rattlebacks
    snake about
    Appreciating
    that you're out

    Hello gardener
    morning says true
    Where have your dreams
    been drawing you?

    Get out there and
    just get it done
    speak with your mouth
    and words will run

    Out of your heart
    and through the phone
    It's time to bring
    our children home

  13. I admire your tenacity as a senior. Any help or ideas on surviving our 60s and 70s on the homestead?? On aging in place?

  14. Hey Kay you are a real trouper. Living where you live it is going to be a ongoing battle with pests and disease. If you are a good patriotic conservative…………..I bless you.

  15. Hello Kaye, I know you'll hang in there, so will we. I live in SW MI, our weather event on Tuesday of this week was surprising, shocking & horrendous all around us. SW MI had 7, SEVEN, tornadoes touch down, never before had we heard such a thing here. The closest ones to us caused so much damage, my son in law is still helping to clear roads, roof tops & other clean up today, Thursday. He said at one point, that there's no end in sight, it's such a mess. He actually helped a Dad to search for his 2 children Tuesday night after the tornadoes hit, how scary & to be a Dad himself, he had to have felt such empathy for this Dad. Anyway, things are weird in all areas of life & will continue to get worse in these last days. We are well & continue to pray for God's strength, healing, peace & perseverance to get through it all, so we may finish very well.
