what up y’all so today we’re going to be up potting tomatoes peppers we’re going to be planning out some maros well they already been sitting outside but I need to up poot them and I’ll give you kind of a little garden tour and a layout of what the garden is kind of looking like right now and what else are we going to be doing starting some seeds so a lot to get done today oh and putting up the trellis panel for the cow panel for trellis for peas and cucumbers and stuff but let me show you what’s in the garden getting a full low I believe it’s 10 cubic yards deliver of soil compost garden soil basically um it was more affordable that way than getting you know a $15 bag here here here and it end up adding up but I got way too much my calculations was way off um I could have got half the load and still had some left over but that’s what that is so we have four garden beds because I didn’t I had more soil deliver I had to end up coming up with a solution so we did get um four garden beds there’s nothing in these as of right now um but I’m planning on doing beans in one bed and sweet potato and another this is kind of shaded it’s partial shade I don’t know what’s all this noise because we never have all this noise it sound like a helicopter but hopefully you all could hear me and then here is my onion bed they are growing I put I planted out onion sets and onion starts I did not start these from seed I’m going to probably try next uh next season to start from seeds it’s the helicopter I want the helicopter to leave I’m back all you’re going to hear is really the birds cuz that one off helicopter but this is the onions I started with onion sets I have um Georgia vallion white onions and red onions and I have sets they were really affordable I think I maybe paid like maybe $15 less than that for all of these and it’s over a hundred of them all of them couldn’t fit here so I planted some in a patch in my front yard and then this is my potato bed I have red potatoes purple potatoes um Yukon Gold potatoes and they are coming up like they’re looking so good you probably hear TJ in the back with the water hose she’s washing pollen off the deck but these probably been in the ground maybe two let’s see maybe 3 weeks so not in the ground but in the bed like they’re so healthy um I put some bone meal on it but yeah oh you can probably see these are going to be purple potatoes I can kind of tell by the color that’s going to be pretty that’s still coming up but this is the potato bed potato bed onion bed hoping to do bean bed and sweet potato bed but yeah here is let’s this is one side I’ll show y’all in inside the yard muscadine Vines are waking up I did up poot them into bigger containers so hopefully I get some musket this year but they’re waking up look at them say hi buddy and then I have four blueberry bushes plants situations um and they are I’m getting berries on this one this one is a legacy this one is sharp blue blueberry this one I had since last season so it was like it was kind of but not dead but it like died back for the winter so now it’s waking up like these I bought from the store this season because I didn’t realize this one wasn’t self-pollinating um the sharp blue blueberry so I needed to go get this one I think I no I didn’t get this one I think I got the emerald which is this one the emerald blueberry and look there’s so many berries on here I’m glad they’re still on here cuz we did get a frost um a freeze rather but I guess it wasn’t too cold but this one’s loaded I’m hoping I can get some blueberries this one is Legacy Legacy has some blueberries on there and then this one is pink lemonade the blooms are coming in I think these are going to have some berries too on them I don’t think I see any just yet wait um I don’t think so not yet but four blueberry plants I up potted my uh one that I had since last season and then mint is waking up I actually need to separate these today peppermint and sweet mint I want to separate them but I know this root system is crazy so going it’s going to be a difficult task but I’m going to do it and here again remember I said I had too much soil so babe built me like a no dig bed with some bricks around it and we put soil in it I would say I don’t know how deep that is it’s probably babe how deep you think this is about 6 Ines at least six or seven Ines um so here because it’s pretty shaded here once the trees start coming in the leaves but we’re going to try to trim them as much as possible but here is carrots beets and radishes um the squirrel’s been digging the dark spots is where the squirrels dig babe just came and covered it up but they don’t have any respect for what I have going on so yeah but I do have some germination with um those are beets radishes um we’re remember I told you we’re trying them if you go back to my last video I was out here the other day with the flashlight low to the ground and I have carrots germinating too you just probably can’t see them who is upsetting the dogs but we have radishes um going on we do have some carrots like if you can see you see that’s a carrot it’s it’s some carrots in here um those are carrots if you can see them oh hi chase you want to see hi you want to see but we have some germination here it’s just I’m testing them to see how they do you can see carrots there but let’s see I know the squirrs are digging I don’t know if they’re hiding stuff or digging for stuff we don’t know but this is about a I would say how wide is this how wide do you think this is babe what she want babe okay I don’t know maybe she went in the house but I’m going to say probably I don’t know I’m about to lie I was going to say maybe cuz my bed outside is 4 by 12 I think so I would say this is it’s probably like 15ot long and about probably about four or five feet probably 4 feet no probably 3T so it’s probably about 3 by 15 or something like that I don’t know I’m guesstimating but it’s a no dig area and then I have lies that I planted I didn’t have enough containers last season so I just put popped them here and they’re coming up I’m kind of surprised I hope they flower but we’re going to see and then this area is literally just on the side of my um deck stairs so yeah I just basically amended amended it with compost garden soil um Some Mo this is red clay as you can kind of see but I did plant some stuff and this germination look way better than over there but I think because the squirrels are messing with them oh look at the bees we have lots of pollinators going on but as you can see again I’m just testing so this will be technically in ground planting I have never done INR planting except for here so we’re we’re testing it we have carrots you can see that are germinating we have beets um more carrots carrots beets more carrots and beets and then we have radishes right there but we’re hoping for the best for this for everything right but yeah you see we have some peas that have come up this is supposed to be spinach um well it is spinach but I’m hoping it grows because it’s struggling it is struggling here’s some more um I’m wanting to get spinach it looks like some more is germinating yeah we shall see but we have some little marble peas in this bucket in this bucket we have Mammoth melting peas and both of those and then these is sugar snap P I literally took a picture the other day and they were small so 3 days later they grew probably double in size excited about that and these are um lettuce buckets there was some germination that I saw when I got really low well you can see this one has some um this one has some too but it’s very low and then same here you can see the little green we don’t know I did see little gemm popping up but we’re going to see cuz of the wood chips the MCH may be causing a problem for here are the merry gos looking beautiful I’m going to up poot them today they’ve been outside so they probably are not doing the best they can be doing but looking good to me these are little you know spindly but we gonna still plant them and then look at those lies so pretty so pretty it’s kind of a um I don’t know what it’s called like a sky view from up on the deck of the garden the backyard garden so this is the area that have the basically inground amended soil for the carrots radishes and beets that’s the no dig bed this is where the TR is going to go that’s not going to be there um I’m thinking about doing flowers in that raised garden bin bed uh blueberries and then we have I have grow bags I have probably over a 100 baby you think I got over 100 gr bags or close to it I have have uh 7 gallon 10 gallon 15 gallon and I think 17 18 gallon which is these really big ones right here but we have palette a palette over there palette right here palette here and then a palette back there and then we have some back there let me zoom in and see if you could see you see okay yeah back there some crates and buckets that’s the back we have that right there this is the no dig area this will be the trellis area that’s the side of the deck first palette I believe I’m going to grow most of my okras in here I was going to split these bags between okre and beans but I’m thinking I’m going to do all my beans and my raised beds and then that’s the second row I’ll show you what over there and then the third row and then those are cattle panels against the gate that we’re going to put up and make trellis fencing with it so here we have broccoli um some of them did get some Frost damage that’s what you see here but I’m leaving them hoping that they bounce back um see my cilantro there doing really really nice might have to up poot that um this is supposed to be Siberian dwarf kale I know I transplanted them too early but I did not have any space so I had no choice and now it’s survivor of the fittest this is oregano and rosemary that should come in pretty nice saberian kale that’s a Red Acre cabbage is doing well pretty um this is green Presto this is green Presto also pretty and this is a Golden Acre this was basil it is sad and pity pitiful now this this is Golden Acre also and then we have all seasoned cabbage here that is camel meal hoping for the best with that this one is all seasoned cabbage also Champion collards that you’re seeing over there same thing remember the frost came but yeah we have chives and bunch of onions over here this is all parsley it’s looking nice right then we have collards Georgia Southern collards um those are Georgia Southern collars over there too this is deal it was way more Bountiful but okay uh Scarlet kale here and this one too it is looking nice and strong that’s a Scarlet kale um those both I think this and those are blue Scotch no this one is actually Dinosaur Kale I’m lying cuz this one is also Dinosaur Kale these are dinosaur KES also and then those are blue curled Scotch kale again hoping for the best um blue Scotch curl kale again this is the pink plume um celery this is Golden Boy celery it’s small I don’t know hoping for the best that’s Utah um tall celery and then like two or three of these I had threw some squash and cucumber seeds in there I know it’s too early but I just I couldn’t help myself and I had I I threw the ones in here that I have a lot of so if they germinate yay if not okay that’s fine be [Music] so all you [Music] it’s you [Music] so we could probably make it higher by getting it off the ground the cattle P huh cu the thing on the ground is giving it stability like if we put it here
