good morning it is 7:20 in the morning
and we are doing a garden highlight
tour starting right here this is my five
actually sixth variety Plum
Tree today’s video is a cab hosted by
Grandma Sandy go check her out she does
garden tours every Saturday and fairy
gardens every
Thursday co-hosted by the lovely saoke
Susie in Long Island New York Trish n
cube in the Southern United
States and Barb dally rule life in
Washington state in the mountain it is
so early in the morning the bees are not
even buzzing yet I think they’re all
still sleeping all of the Little
Critters are tucked away probably in
some
flowers taking a nap this tree is in
full swing now with blooms it’s actually
sixth variety cuz we grafted another
variety onto it a few two years ago I
think I’ll show you the graph the graph
isn’t blooming yet right here you can
tell that Branch doesn’t have anything
on it but it does it has flower buds
they’re just not open yet that is an
Italian prune Plum and it blooms a
little bit later than the rest there are
other graphs on this tree too don’t
worry there will be flowers when it
opens and it is definitely got a lot of
flowers a quick look at my Cottage
Garden the Tulips are open and I am so
excited there are tulips
everywhere if you recall some of my
previous videos in the fall when I
planted those tulips they were supposed
to be white pink and purple there were
two packages and those were the colors
but let’s look at the colors once again
that actually showed up we have a
beautiful yellow definitely wasn’t
advertised but I’m not complaining about
it I absolutely love that color we have
a pastel pink and then we have this
purple I’d almost call this the fuchsia
pink it’s kind of a mix between
a purpley red pink and a fuchsia it’s
super beautiful and I am not complaining
I love these colors even though they
were not what was advertised on the
package I do have a tulip over here that
is actually giving me more white Vibes
it’s almost like a creamy white yellow
which is really really
pretty but that’s really all of it all
the other ones look pink and that sort
of fuchsia colored and I’m not
complaining about it I think they are
really really pretty and I am so happy
to have tups in my garden
again let’s take a look at that
container that we made over together
early this spring that was one of my
free spring container makeover
projects right here this is the fairy
that I put into the container and pled
these were all cuttings from my Dusty
Miller
I don’t know if they’ve rooted in but at
this stage it doesn’t matter they still
look pretty good there’s a giant pansy
flower which not sure if it’s wilted or
what’s going on I think it’s just so big
that the plant can’t support the flower
which is kind of sad see if I can prop
it up with the
rose maybe move the rose cutting maybe
not let’s
see flower do not want to stay up there
we go that’s a bit of a no it’s not I
don’t think it’s going to stay up that
little pansy flower is a ginormous
flower so beautiful and there’s more
coming more buds there and my Blue Bell
is starting to bloom and we’ve got a
couple tulips that are starting to bloom
I’m so delighted it might not be the
most beautiful planter but I love the
pop of color in the Cottage
Garden coming this way there are more of
those gorgeous tulips and my English
daisies are just starting to blo
I have more of these in a container that
are definitely a little further ahead in
their growth
patterns and let’s swing right up to the
coconut ice peach tree right here it has
got lots and lots of blooms on it they
are so
beautiful right there and they are
delicious if you haven’t seen my taste
testing spring FL flow video I suggest
you check it out they taste Heavenly
these
flowers next we’re going to take a quick
peek at my bulb border on the side yard
Garden right here we have my leopard’s
ban perennial that is just starting to
Bloom gets these Daisy like flowers in
the springtime and they are so pretty
such a pop of color but daffodils are
almost done in this
section and the Spanish blue bells are
just
starting over here the grape pens are
still going strong and there’s a lot
more Spanish blue bells still to
come
we’re going to head into the rock garden
and check out some of the
highlights we are headed into the Rock
Garden to check out a few of the
[Applause]
highlights there off right beside me
this is one of those containers we made
over together early spring and these are
the English daisies that I transplanted
from my landscape into the container and
they’re in full
swing my little wall flower cutting is
blooming my purest cuting some of the
flowers are finished and there still are
some fresh flowers on there and overall
minus this I don’t even remember what
that was was didn’t work out but overall
this planter I feel has done pretty well
considering we did this whole thing for
free the mushrooms were already in my
fair garden collection so I didn’t spend
any money making this planter and I like
how it turned out we have a collection
of oregano this is a huge Mound and I
didn’t plant it this 100% self-seeded
here I have it all over my Cottage
Garden and it is Gone Bananas in the
garden and I don’t mind oregano is
actually a super Dro tolerant perennial
at least on Vancouver Island I haven’t
planted these they are everywhere they
have beautiful purple flowers when they
bloom you can cook with them they are
edible they smell delicious they tastes
delicious and they are just very trout
tolerant low maintenance awesome flowers
for bouquet highly recommend planting
oregano if you have a drought tolerant
landscape here’s a little overview of my
rock garden and we are going to check
out a few of the
flowers starting right here this is my
pride and joy this is my wall flower one
of my wall flowers in full bloom I love
these
colors we have a red burgundy orange and
yellow mix so beautiful and this is
perennial I grew these wall flowers from
a wildf flower mix I didn’t even know I
was growing them at the time when I
started this rock garden I put in a ton
of different wildf flower mixes and this
is what came out of one of them and I
don’t even know which one it was
Evergreen and absolutely gorgeous but
don’t eat them they’re not
edible coming this way this is my Salvia
I just planted this recently in my in my
pickaxe review video and they are doing
really well so beautiful and the bees
love them coming this way my fairy
garden is getting even more colorful the
daffodils are really going strong here
the grape highis are still in full bloom
and the English daisies are just getting
started it is so
pretty and I have more wall flowers
there is a smaller wallf flower plant
right here a little further down in the
Raw garden and another one over here and
this one I feel like has lighter flowers
like it’s m it’s multicolored this wall
flower but I feel like this pop seems
different than the other plant but so
beautiful I love these colors so
vibrant I’m going down in the Rock
Garden we have my fuchsia colored arcia
I can never say that right look love
love love this color and it is just
spreading out all over so
gorgeous what you see here which is very
vigorous and all over this is my sand
wart sand wart or soap wart I mix them
up all the time I’ll pop the name on the
screen I love how this feels the fresh
growth is so Lush and of course there
are panties Here There and Everywhere in
this rock garden my roses
have lots of fresh growth on
them the great pansy show is just
getting
started many more pansies
here in the Rock Garden they just pop up
everywhere these panies and I am not
complaining I absolutely love all the
pops of purple
everywhere my hens and chicks are just
multiplying like mad and I’m not
complaining I wanted this to happen and
they are loving the weather we are
having right now some really warm
temperatures little bit cooler overnight
not freezing and they are just living
their best life here right beside the
sidewalk
peek at a project I’m working on that is
not quite
finished and my five variety cherry tree
is just getting
started going to give you a little peek
at my what do we call this the driveway
Garden I rarely show this on my channel
because it’s so close to the neighbor’s
house but I’m just going to show you a
few of the plants that are living their
best life here I created this Garden I
think last January like 2022 I want to
say and I made it video the driveway
Garden makeover I’ll link it in the
description these are some of the plants
I put in this is AA I think not sure how
to pronounce it my first time growing it
so far I absolutely love it I got these
for want to see they were 97s on
clearance at a local grocery store and
look at the color they are just
exploding with growth this spring so
beautiful it’s a herbaceous perennial
with light blue flowers spikes above
carpets of wine red and bronze cream
foliage suitable for rockeries banks
gravel Gardens full sun toart shade
doesn’t actually say Dr tolerant on here
so I was a little bit hesitant to buy it
but for 97 cents I couldn’t resist and
it is doing really well in my
garden I have some leopard’s Bane that I
transplanted from my bul border and put
in here and it is just starting to
bloom my most exciting flower in this
Garden is actually this Roto genden it
is in full Gloom this was one of the
main plants from my makeover
video and I love it it is so gorgeous
with a deep dark foliage and the vibrant
blooms so so
beautiful Johnny Jump pops one of my
favorite spring flowers

  1. Wow! Six varieties on the plum tree. I love the tulip colors- so Springy. The English daisies are very cute. I've never seen wallflowers! The multi colors remind me of some snapdragons with that coloring. I love the pansies popping up everywhere. They do that in my grass but they get mowed…poor pansies. The Ajuga plant looks interesting. Beautiful coloring. I miss seeing the Rhodes over here in Eastern WA. Great tour Lisa!

  2. so beautiful. hopefully my in-ground tulips bloom soon!!!~ so jelous. lol funny pansy plant, poor thing. beautiful tree blooms. I really should try more fruit trees. also jelous of all the pansies! Ajuga, yes. Such a great tour.

  3. There are so many beautiful blooms! I love seeing tulips in spring!! Thanks for another great garden tour!!! Great share!!!! 😊❤️

  4. Wow that beginning with the music, quotes and awesome flower footage was like a straight up beginning of a movie. Grand! Hard work pays off, and it shows in your garden. Thanks for the update! Keep it up! 👍 👍 💐 🧚‍♂️

As of what's going on in my yard besides a ton of yardwork, the plums are coming in, the oranges, lemons and mandarin trees have blossoms. Flowers are coming back around, and my lavender plant is looking the best it's been. Pistachio pollenator has woken up, but the one that bears pistachios is still asleep for now. So much work lol.

  5. Hello looking ver colourful there and I like that yellow too reminds me of sunshine and sunflowers. Cool rabbit with book 🙂 I saw the CR word near the end too❤ take CaRe
