1st pic is what I ordered. 2nd pic to fit onto this. 3rd and 4th pics are what arrived andway too big to graft onto?
I need to think about propagating in soil fast.

    As far as I’m aware you can graft various ways and you could graft to the central leader instead of that branch to increase the diameter of the graft site.

    If the new variety is super slow then graft it on to the trunk and root the rest the fig you remove into a bunch of new plants!

    If you’re not sure about the growing speed and have never grafted before it’s probably easier to root a fig than to graft. Then you can snip shoots off the rooted plant to graft down the road!

    You can root in water or soil rooting with figs they’re pretty forgiving just don’t let them get bone dry! If you do water try to change it every day! Good luck!
