Long story short, I paid way too much for a bit of Bruce's Dragon grafted onto an unrooted stock. A year has passed and the stock has yet to push roots, but it has put out a pup that I want to try and save via grafting. However I have very little experience with that.
I have some pereskiopsis, but they're all skinnier than the pup. I have some six and twelve month old seedlings that are wider though.
What's the grafting method that will give the highest chance for success here?

Just leave it alone!…
Seriously, pot it up and let nature do its thing. I don’t really understand what’s wrong honestly… so times it takes awhile for cactus to root but eventually it will.
So just pot it up in some good soil and let it do its thing.
What is your rooting setup like?
Just put it in dirt and water it
Graft that pup to some healthier root stock!
I have my unrooted grafts/cuttings in my tent. I fill the pot that they’ll be in with the soil, then water it and add a thin layer of dry soil to top. I sit the rootstock on top of it. It gets to around 90-95° in the tent. They usually push roots in 3-4wks
