  1. Many of these plants were favorites when i lived in New Mexico. Now rhat i live with wet clay, it is a continuing effort to establish these plants. Gaillardia was tried in flower beds and pots and never lived through the winter until it seeded itself in my crushed granite path where it flourishes!
