You might remember a little while ago I made a video on how to grow peach trees from seed and this was the one that I planted in that video so it’s only 2 and 1/2 years since I first put that seed in the ground to get it to what it is today

And what’s really cool is that it actually has three peaches growing on it and it’s just so cool that in such a short amount of time only 2 and 1/2 years you can take something from a seed to then producing your own fruits and I would say by next year there should be

Quite a few more on this tree so it’s definitely worth learning how to do and growing your own PE trees from seed especially if you can get your hands on a Heritage variety

  1. For a full tutorial of the best way to grow peach trees from seed, see the video link below this video 🙂

  2. I'm hoping to try to propagate my peach tree by cuttings this year – we didn't put it in the best spot and it's struggled over the years, so I'm hoping a few rooted cuttings in a new place night do better!

  3. Just be aware that there is a high likelihood that the fruit will be of inferior quality to the parent tree. You are far better to graft for a better tasting result.

  4. Certain fruit trees will grow true too tight, but it will still be off a little bit on some characteristics traits so this peach could be enormously really great or I could also just be like that, so is it worth waiting those years for that to mature and produce fruit I know other trees it takes longer, but if you have a lot of land, then yeah, that would be a great thing, but if you don’t, then I think I would still stick to buying a graphic tree

  5. Yeah but the fruit will most likely taste inferior and have a sloppy texture, oh and won't keep well. Grow from a graft/cutting of established stock and you can't go wrong.
