[संगीत] इस फिल्म की मुख्य किरदार कैथरीन एक महत्वाकांक्षी अभिनेत्री है लेकिन उसका करियर अभी रफ्तार नहीं पकड़ पाया है उसके पति रिचर्ड एक फिल्म प्रोड्यूसर है वह एक आलिशान घर में रहती है कैथरीन दिन भर घर की साफ सफाई में समय बिताती है जबकि रिचर्ड काम में व्यस्त रहता है एक सुबह
उसकी मुलाकात ड्यूक नाम के एक व्यक्ति से होती है जो नए मालिक के रूप में काम करने आता है अगले दिन शाम को रिचर्ड घर आता है और वे साथ में खाना खाते हैं कैथरीन अपने पति से कहती है कि वह अगली फिल्म प्रोजेक्ट के लिए अभिनेत्रियों की सूची
में शामिल होना चाहती है लेकिन रिचर्ड एक ईमानदार निर्माता था इसलिए वह उसे अपने दम पर सफल होने का दबाव देता है कैथरीन का पति रिचर्ड एक कामकाजी व्यक्ति था जिसके कारण कैथरीन को अक्सर अकेलापन महसूस होता था अगले दिन ड्यूक काम करने के लिए आता है

शुरू कर देती है कहानी में आगे चलकर पता चलता है कि चीजें वैसी नहीं है जैसी दिखती है ड्यूक और उसके साथी ओटस के असली मंसूबे कुछ और ही है का एक चौकाने वाले अं की ओर बढ़ती है
