A rarity and a favourite for me in the #shrub category : Rhamnus imeretina – an unusual Buckthorn that is a #winner over multiple #seasons. Here, the new #architectural, ribbed, vivid #green leaves and a second shot showing the striking dark, #chocolate coloured #buds that it has all #winter. Good #autumn colour too, bronzy #purple. One to know.
