Learn how to wash and store homegrown arugula after harvesting so that it stays fresh for as long as possible! Wash, rinse, spin, repeat! How to use a salad spinner correctly
With Shirley Bovshow, the Foodie Gardener.

It’s Shirley the Foodie Gardener with some  tips on how to wash homegrown arugula. First,   I put it in the sink and I hose it down.  Next, I dump it in cool water and squish   it around. Look at all that stuff floating! Do  this three times. After at least three washes,

I put it in my salad spinner I  got this one $3 Goodwill. Spin it spin it again one more time. Next I put it on a paper towel  and spread it out. Add another paper   towel on top- good night arugula! Roll  it and then put it in a baggie. Put it

In your crisper in refrigerator and  it’ll be good for about 10 days!
