A good seat or an outside table.
We are so lucky to have you Miss Kaye. My mom would have loved it had I brought you home. You're an amazing lady with so many wonderful ways.
She's been gone 25 years today.
God Bless every mom that ever lived.
Been there and done that 😊
Looks like an expensive day. Seems like there's always something to be done even if you have land or just a house.
The stump is awsome. I would set upright and make a work table with it.
Almost Birthday time? Did I miss your Birthday?
Dead trees are sad, but it's best to use the wood somehow. We have a lot of dead trees in our 6.5 acre wood, mostly elm (from elm disease) and beech. A lot of maples and buckeyes have self-planted, though.
We had to have a 150 year old oak tree cut down last fall. It was dying and dropping it's huge limbs. One of the limbs wiped out part of our fence across the front of our property. We were afraid it was going to fall on somebody and hurt them. We sure do miss this beautiful majestic tree, but it is a huge relief that it is gone.
You could lay down A couple of pieces of thick black plastic and then cover them with one inch or larger chat next to the raised beds. No weeds and no maintenance. Just a suggestion.😊.
Expensive! I had a tall 55 yr old living pine taken down last year. Big bucket truck plus 32 ton crane and all hauled off. was 50 ft from house and 15 ft from my pole shed garage. trunk at base is 3.5 feet across. Have 5 more in the same row. Cost was $2600, so I have to save and do one every other year or two. Way too close to the house. Someone wasn't thinking 55 hrs ago or they knew they wouldn't be around 55 yrs. I moved here 2 yrs ago .. lots of chopping and dropping of overgrowth.
