My Previous video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiIDMT5l3Mo&feature=youtu.be
It’s the 25th of October and these are the okas growing strong and healthy they should be staying until the end of November cuz as the days get cooler this the okas are supposed to get bigger they’re not very big anyway but I think they’re about that size but when I
Dig them up I will show them to you they’re looking very very healthy and see some are still flowering but that’s just what they do of course what am I doing to dig head that yeah not close I don’t know Mark no idea we’ve it’s the 25th of November we’ve
Had a frost we’re going to Mark pulling off the tops and then we’re going to hang on Mark there’s some okas on the yeah that’s one is it yeah there’s some on the plants here all right it’s first time we’ve grown them is it yeah first
Time we’ve grown them so the first time harvesting there’s some pretty ones and then we’re going to dig them up right so this is quite a nice size one is that normal then the size one are they bigger than this or what no that’s a the sort
Of the size you know some slug damaged yeah cuz we had bad slug problem around here so we’ve dug up all the ocas and now it’s a little empty patch um this is what we received what we got from our crop mixture of yellowy they call them yellowy
And red ones it’s not a great it’s not you know but it’s not bad from um about six or eight little tubers like I said we had a bad slug problem in this area and you can see they’ve had a little nibble at some of them and there and there’s other ones
Like that here’s one but there’s plenty of whole ones and I’ll see I’ll keep this one to grow from next year um they’re not prolific but it’s just nice to grow something different that I don’t normally grow uh mark would probably say there slug are very enticing to slug so he
Probably say no I don’t want to grow them but I’d like to I think I’ll sneak a few in here and there right these are all the ocas that I picked the other day I’ve now weighed them and the ground total is just under 1.3 kilos which actually isn’t bad from
About eight OCA seats so I’m going to sort them out the ones that are good I will keep some of those and the ones that are damaged we will eat but I think overall I would grow them again and um Mark isn’t keing but we’ll see
Like I said before but there’s some real Beauties like this one Absolut beautiful and uh well I think I’ll enjoy them beautiful colors aren’t they have you ever grown okas let me know your results
