Hi Cactus guys, first post here. I’m in the process of planning my first graft and had a question. I started some tricho seedlings about a year ago. I first heard of San Pedro recently and thought it would be fun to get some seeds and throw them into soil and see what happens. Long story short I didn’t really know what I was doing and they’re struggling now. They started off real well but stalled after about 3 months I think because I didn’t have any lights and didn’t add nutrients. So I’m trying to bring them back now; I made some new soil and transplanted them and have some half ass lights until I get my setup in place real soon. I want to experiment and use them for my first grafts; I love experimenting, trying new things because it helps me learn. I have my second round of seeds going now which I’m hoping will go much better and I can use my first seedlings to learn. It will be interesting to compare the grafted ones to the rest in my takeway container.
So my question is: If I buy a couple of these cheap Grandiflorus from Home Depot like in the photo, which is probably about 5-6 inches in diameter, can I graft 2 or 3 of my seedlings on each one or would you stick to 1:1? Thanks in advance and looking forward to learning. Any other feedback or tips on this endeavor welcomed!

The grandi hybrids are a pain for me. IME, they focus pups and stall the scion often. After pruning off pups scion will push a little, and then it explodes with pups again.
Edit: If you’re at home depot, I would just buy their pachanoi 3 pack and have 3 stocks.
