This one failed too. I think I need to get the rootstock really plump and then try and probably the scion too

Rootstock should be juicy plump wet when cut, keep them out of direct sun for at least a week or two, and the seran wrap to keep moisture will help a lot. You might still have a few that fail, but shouldn’t be often.

Slabs do better with more humidity in my experience. Try wrapping it in plastic wrap for the first few days next time 🤙
