Yippee another Video!♥️⛄️🎶🌻
Thanks for keeping me company while I was making bread. I've missed the last live because my son and I were doing home repair and painting, so I was super happy to see this as it just came on! You are an inspiration to me.
Great timing on the fermented veggies. I have lots of fresh bells and onions and made me hungry. I had a phenomenal immune system as a child and adult.
I ate dill pickles and drank the juice incessantly! Little did I know 😂
You make the cold, miserable months tolerable. Love the nids!
I made fermented dill pickles, and also some spicy fermented okra and I eat one every day at lunch. So good! I can't wait to try more vegetables this year! Stay warm darlin!
I was TOTALLY WONDERING just yesterday if I could drink the brine, so thank you for that! I sometimes use just the brine as a replacement for salad dressing.
LOL, I think you were hungry when you decided to eat and try all your ferments ,LOL. Noticed you didn't have a weight on the produce in the jars to keep it under the ferment. Did you ferment first and then take the weight out before putting them in the fridge? Just curious about that. How long did you ferment before you put them in the fridge? inquiring minds want to know. I have had mine in the fridge for over a yearsometimes and they are still good, maybe a little more mushy though. Ty for your video.
Oh yes I forgot to mention that I have ordered 2 heat mats for seedlings and fermenting etc
Awesome fermentation video! I have been looking to experiment with more than the pickles and beets so this is great. My pickles last almost a year in the refrigerator so will venture out into other veggies. Just made some homemade mayo and some yogurt is in process. Hope the weather improves and you can get out if you need to. Blessings..
can i ask how did you know one of your jars was a fail? Love Mary and Stacy. ive started pickling and freezing lots of fresh vegetables. i want to ferment soon, dont think ill can, that scares me still.
i guess it wouldn't be true that "your nose knows" when it comes to blue cheese…😂
Do they Have to sit in the refrigerator? Can they sit in your countertop?
it just occurred to me thats why so many east of the Mississippi have out door summer kitchens for canning.
i want to do that this year looks yummy
YUM!
I want a jar of goodies! They must taste wonderful! For a minute, I thought those were a jar of red eggs made with beats!
Thank you! Your ferments looked wonderful; glad they were a success! 😊❤🐱
Good job Kaye. Thank you for sharing! ❤
So many talents. I'm going to re-watch the fermenting videos. I haven't had much success from my very limited attempts. But you have inspired me to give it a go for the harvest this coming year. Much love beautiful friend❤. Glad to see you doing so much better. You are one strong lady.
Wow, Kaye, that's wonderful! I fermented salsa and tomatoes/onion/garlic/basil — we loved it. This year, the only thing I did was fermented pepper sauce. I used red jalapeños, onion, and garlic. It came out so good! My grandson complimented me on it– he said it was "awesome." That’s good enough for me!❤
Not only healthy they sure are pretty to look at!!!😁
I am going to try and ferment some cabbage I have growing right now, and do more this year.
I am enjoying my fermented vegetables so much. I thanks also goes to Stacey from Doug and Stacey‘s YouTube channel.
