Determinate tomatoes need very little pruning because they grow to a set height, flower, set fruit and then die off. Size does not become a management issue. Pruning is mostly done on indeterminate tomatoes to manage growth. I give you some quick tips on fertilizing, pruning and staking determinate tomatoes.
