  1. So much fun! I'm the one who gave you a heads up about the snow. I'm still waiting for it on the east coast. Lori

  2. Oh Kaye! How fresh..being outside and comfortable enjoying friends. And those kids! Adorable..❤

  3. Kaye!! Beautiful snow, beautiful friends, beautiful boots & sweet lady wearing them!! Yall got a GOOD one! Hope we can get at least 1 good snow here in SC this year too! Happy New Year !! 🎉🎉

  4. I was smiling and happy through your whole video…well, until a commercial started playing about that film glorifying the homosexual lifestyle of Leonard Bernstein. It was an ugly jolt, but I was quickly able to hit the SKIP button and return the wholesome goodness of you enjoying your sled day with the wonderful family neighbors. I'm so happy you got your sled day!

  5. What a beautiful thing snow is. Thanks for sharing your snow day. I got out my snow shoes just to get around to fill the bird feeders! Love the snow!

  6. Kaye I took my family out to do just what you did oh what glorious fun an forever memories! Thank you for sharing! Take a thermos of hot chocolate to warm up with out there! God Bless !

  7. We have snow too! It was just on the grass this morning. Now there is a layer of snow on the roads. Maybe a few inches. I went and fed my stray cats and a fox that needs to eat also… also put out some sweet feed mixed with cracked corn out for the deer and birds…

  8. I saw a video yesterday where a man had devised a thing of sorts to pull his daughter’s sled back up the hill electronically. Like an electric screwdriver of sorts? They measured out how much string (or rope) they needed for the daughter to get all the way to the bottom of their hill. Then the dad turned on this spinning thing, held out in front of his body and the rope retracted and folded itself over on the handle of whatever it was. Then, he speeded up the thing… it had 3 speeds… he had to hold on really hard as his daughter, still on the sled came zipping up the hill almost faster than she’d gone down. I’m probably not explaining this well, but I thought it a great invention of sorts because climbing back up the hill is rough sometimes! Glad you got to sled down the hill Kaye!✌🏻

  9. Hope yur staying warm and excellent footing Miss Kaye. ❤ we have approximately 6 or so inches here in SW Washington and its been freezing temps in the low single digits.😖 Stay warm. 😊

  10. Oh, what fun!
Growing up in the suburbs of Knoxville, I can remember 1 snow in which we were able to go sledding. That is a good memory.

  11. lol we always used large cardboard boxes from the store in town would cut them in half an stack them outside there front door an we would burn them in the cook stove or lay it under the bushes by the garden for worms for fishing an gardening ❤Relatives came with the plastic ones an they Always ended on our huge cardboard Lol

  12. Looked like you were having a blast! My sister in Stillwater got plenty of snow and got to make snow cream but we only got maybe 2" mostly just got the bitter cold. Our highs since Sunday have been single digit with wind chills running at 20 below. They ended up calling church this week so I have not been out since Sun. 01/07. Today is actually supposed to hit 25. Right now at 630am it is 0 degrees with a -11 wind chill. I was hoping to get some snow cream but unless we have another (real snow) I will not get any this year. In my 7 years here we have only had one year that we got enough snow for such. I miss growing up at grandma's farm where we had big snows every year.

  13. Oh my, the kitties are my fave! They definitely made a judicious choice — to stay indoors!! Ha ha, smart kitties!!

  14. Beautiful scenery. Pretty Carolina Wren. With the temps that will likely stick around a while.

  15. Brings back memories of when my girls were the same age, and now I get to do it again with my grandchildren. What a blessing little ones are, they grow up way too fast!

  16. I am a photographer and loved photographing the birds but now I have three mostly outdoor cats that I took in because they showed up orphaned. I love them but I can’t get the bird photos anymore.

  17. Now I need to check out the boots online. We get a lot is snow some years. We used to get it every year.

  18. I bought a sled a few years ago but am afraid I will hurt myself on it. Our hill is pretty steep and it goes into a small spring

  19. Snow! Looks like New Hampshire! snowmen, snow angels, snow forts, snowballs, sledding = snow fun! ❄❄💗
