This was on top of the soil of a succulent my husband got for me. But it felt very dry, so I soaked it in some water and it softened and grew twice the side it was. I thought it was fake at first, but it’s definitely real. How can I keep it alive and happy? It’s so cute!

Thats dyed lichen, its dead and not even a moss. It will just rot if moisture is introduced
