E e good morning and welcome back to my channel Urban backyard container garden I’m Moses today I’m outside in the garden doing some cleanup and I thought I would bring you along this year I’ve had a lot of sitb backs complications with my garden but it hasn’t stopped me from wanting to

Grow my own food and it never will I’ve had um more plants die this year um in my buckets than I’ve had the past 3 years combined but as the old saying goes when you fall down you get back up dust yourself off and keep going so that’s what I’m going

To do the first thing I’m going to do I have my Asian greens here and they’re not looking very good so so I think I’m going to just go ahead and harvest them the leaves and remove the roots see like this one it is pretty much toast and I don’t

Know what happened to it or anything like it but I’m not going to dwell too much on it I’m just going to go ahead and remove it and move on and same thing here with my purple Bok Troy it just seemed to die by and here at my Big Daddy’s collards uh

Some days my greens look real good and then some days they looked as if they’re really struggling uh I’m not sure what I can do on this but but I’m going to go ahead and try to keep struggling along with these this one looks like it’s toast so it’s coming

Out this one is toed as well so it it’s coming out we’re going to trim up some of this parsley and bring it in as well and my oregano has bolted so we’re going to trim it up basil smells so good here the audio decided to go away got to love technology e

Here the audio decided to go away got to love technology the reason I started gardening was to relieve stress at the time I was working as a 911 supervisor I did that for 33 years as you can imagine I’ve heard some interesting things some have been funny

Some have been sad and some happened to horrible to discuss gardening gave me an outlet then came a long Co inflation gardening afford me the opportunity to grow my own vegetables that my family and I normally ate I started having success and suddenly gardening went from

An outlet to a passion the only thing lacking was having a larger space to Garden but that too is coming next year my advice to everyone is once you find something you become interested in stick with it no matter the UPS or Downs so I fined my cleanup and now I’m going

To water and spray my plants to get any Uninvited Guest off of them some of my reasons for garden are one gardening relieves stress which helps with your mental health two active gardening can lead to a healthier lifestyle in eating three gardening has an immediate impact on happiness and long-term positive effects on

Mood four gardening also provides some light exercise from digging lifting carrying and bending up and down dot five homeg grown vegetables taste better I know what I did to grow them not only do freshly pick vegetables taste better but they also have a higher nutritional value I’m going to finish watering my plants
