2️⃣ The winner amongst the ferns is definitely the maidenhair fern even after twice completely dying back (because of two vacations where I wasn’t around to shower and turn on the grow lights)

3️⃣ There are no windows in the bathroom so I can make the light cycle reversed: on through the night, off during the day. The purple glow acts like a night light!

Soap? Shampoo? Whatever small amount of residue is left on these plants hasn’t caused significant problems (remember, this has been planted here for more than a year and I EXPECT some frond turnover).
