Okay good morning everybody we’re here in uh my home suburb of Kanga only it’s not my home so um just around the corner from home so nice to be working close to home for cuz something a bit different um we have got a pond going in over here

Um this is going to be quite a quite a interesting build Okay so we’ve got our fish pond coming in here this is a fish pond we got a bit of a waterfall and stream starting up here in the garden um the client here is a big fan of garden

Answer over in the US and uh there’s all sorts of various plants around this garden and it truly is quite a quite a colorful location um so we’ve got our a biof Falls starting up the top here coming down to our pond which is roughly

About 5 m by 3 um thereabouts we have our skimmer in over that end and uh and we’ve got a fire pit sitting on the edge here um along with a decomposed Granite path area and and sitting area for that fire pit so haven’t quite finalized our

Layout on that yet but we’ll sort of stretch that around a bit um so yeah this is going to be quite an interesting project um got my son here as well as Sean and um yeah so let’s get into it all right so we had a little bit of

Rain overnight uh we got a hole dug in our liner in yesterday bit of water in the hole um we’ll flush all that dirt out later um got my son over here singing rocks so this is one of the beauties of school holidays as uh he gets to come along and play and

Um let’s see how he goes it’s definitely picking up the arly on the Rock that’s for sure sh sitting there on the Digger but uh anyway we’re getting a bit of shape happening uh we got our beachy area sort of Zone to go in over here uh going to be a nice sort

Of long Channel through here of course our stream running up here so we’re still yet to finish building our burm um finish unrolling our liner as well but uh yeah of course our gravel’s turned up this SL starting to do our back pillar all right bit of an update I’ve been a

Bit slack with video updates of late but uh you got Tyler over here slinging and uh we got a fair bit of our pond rocked in had a few days of rain here so bit of water in the the pond so that’s all got to be flushed out yet and yeah

Rocks going in left right and Center so hopefully this Pond’s going to look like something by this afternoon right along we’ve got a bit of edge work to carry out with today get our pipe all hidden and concealed and of course we’ve got our Pebble going back in So This is

Actually um this is a 10 mm Pebble that comes out of the nanua river um as in nanua in New South Wales so um yeah quite a uh quite a nice Pebble um we’re going with we’re slowly finding that more and more ponds that we do we’re

Trying to use that smaller gravel size and the reason behind that being is that the goldfish have actually you know if you’re stocking goldfish um or koi for that matter it gives them the uh the opportunity to turn those gravels over get some food out of that gravel and

Turn it out and best of all they keep that gravel looking clean you will still still naturally get a few Pockets that’ll build up with a bit of residue and things like that but as a general rule of thumb you know your Pond’s going to stay a lot more presentable uh with

That bit of um fish action turning it Over Sean there just uh doing final touches down there in the pond spreading our last about gravel around a little bit more to go so as mentioned previously we got the Namba River Pebble coming into this one so a small sort of 7 to 10 mm Stone which is um great for

Goldfish because they can actually chew it over and and turn the stones over so hopefully they’re going to keep this Pond looking a lot more prestigious we’ve started on our fire pit we’ve got the first of our steel edging just being set up over there um this is all going

To be decomposed Granite through this area and uh and it’ll be Blended in with a with a cement uh installed dry and compacted so uh going to be quite a firm base to uh to work with um waterfall that’s all in now um bit more gravel to

Be scattered through and a bit of excess phone to be pulled out but uh really starting to look the part so pretty much last few bits and pieces and uh fill it up with water and then we’ll be a to finally show you what’s all happening and have a look at this guy

Checking out his new around Lov crafty eye Turtle this one crafts Turtle it’s commonly known having a good explor there okay guys so uh we’re at the end of this project here in Kanga um this has been uh this turned out really well so we’ve

Got our our fire pit area um decco this is all decomposed Granite it’s landed with cement um still drying out a bit at the moment but uh yeah um certainly set very hard like concrete but um have a look at this so as I said previously we

Used 10 mm uh nambu pebbl in this one so uh creates that lovely real Beach uh type of effect lovely white white gravel appearance um best of all there are goldfish going in this Pond and so what we’re hoping for is that the um well not not so much what

We’re hoping for but the Goldfish themselves should actually start to turn this gravel over and help keep that gravel C so we’re finding that with the smaller gravel uh the ponds are looking a lot better so we certainly a bit of a push towards that a little bit more

Expensive than our normal go-to stuff but seems to be paining to do so lovely little waterfall sit in there and uh This truly has become yeah I know this is going to be the the homeowner here’s uh new goto spot um she’s right into um Garden answer on YouTube there

And and of course frequent viewer of Greg Woodstock the pong guys Channel as well and she can’t wait to start planting out all the rest of this yard so she’s got lots of lovely flowers going around Zine is growing down the back there and some Hy Rangers and

Sunflowers and uh and names that fail me um even some snapdragons they’re not as spectacular as they were but uh yeah some lovely flowers around the yard um some truly truly nice plants but there you go imagine sitting in something like this for Christmas um yeah truly uh

Unique Pond for a uh a fantastic little backyard so yeah so if you’ve got a space in your yard where you think something like this would suits you down to the ground by all means get in touch and uh let’s see what we can do for you um the possibilities are endless and

There’s actually a a fire pit sit in here uh adoring those rocks and uh so we got about 2 and 1/2 M radius out here so enough to sort of have that fire burning away comfortably and still be seated far enough away you know from when if that

Fire is Raging as such so going to be a great seating area a great entertainment venue um it’s all edged in uh in steel so we got a a 3 mil steel Edge border right the way around here um creates that wonderful whipper snipper line so good hard durable Edge um you

Get the whiper snipper out and you’re not going to do any damage to it um and that lovely Rusty effect of the steel just looks fantastic as well so all right so that’s it for us on this one guys have a fantastic Christmas I know this homeowner is going to thoroughly
